30 years ago, a fellow by the name of Yoshiyuki Tomino went and said, "You know what? Screw those fancy Super Robots, with their fancy attacks that are yelled all the time! I'm going to make a robot that's more REAL!" And thus he created Mobile Suit Gundam about a kid named Amuro Ray, fighting against the Principality of Zeon. Then more Gundam series came out, and the rest, they say, is history. Now Gundam is celebrating it's 30th anniversary.

The only Gundam I ever truly watched was 00.
the series finale was slammin.

You know, I've never really got to see a Gundam series. I remember Toonami here in the UK used to broadcast some old episodes of something Gundam, but it was at about 11 and I wasn't nearly the night owl I am now. I regret not being able to watch them.

Whelp~ My -fave- gundam series is Wing, hands down. I grew up, running home from school to watch Gundam Wing every day after school, back in the day when Tsunami was on the weekdays, and didn't suck.
XXXG-01D2 Deathscythe version2,custom; Deathscythe Hell. My favorite model. ^^ In fact I plan to have a tattoo representing it. I dabbled in most gundam series, G wasfun for the piloting style, 00 was just like whoa, I havnt watched the origional, nor do I acknowlege to admit that one series that was on Tsunami as it died that lil Midget Gundam p.o.s.
I watched the end of 00 but not all of it, but enough to understand it, is i worth hunting down? Allelujah was a badass, almost as much as Due. xd
