So I turn 19 on October 21st, which I am very excited about. =D Yay, I can buy cigarettes now (i live in utah)! Not that I'm actually too excited about that part but yes. I am going to have a combined birthday party with my friend Ali, who is turning 17. The problem is, I haven't had a birthday party in years, so my ideas of birthday parties are a bit outdated (for example, at my last birthday party we had races where we rolled lemons across the kitchen floor). So what're you supposed to do for adult-ish parties? I do want it to be really fun, and not just another party where people drink (although there probably will be some drinking). Any ideas? Any birthday parties that were particularly awesome that you've been to?

Dave & Busters is awesome. I went to one for Halloween last year in Florida (we might do it again this year) You can drink, eat, play pool, or arcade games and get tickets. Like D said: A grown-up Chuck E Cheese. xD
What I've always wanted to do for a party (but never got to due to weather) was have a movie and firepit night. We used to have a homemade firepit in our backyard, and my brother would have tons of friends over and they would share stories and sing and just have a good time.

NO! No chuck e cheese's!
*grumbles*
I got stuck having my 18th birthday there, cause my mother wanted to celebrate my brother's birthday and her best friend daughter's b-day too... so I got to spend the day I turn into an adult at a place with cheap butt games and crappy food.
Sorry, I hate that place. When I was 6, I did have my b-day there, and I got trampled by the guy in the chuck e cheese mouse outfit..... Terrorized for life now >.>
Sorry guys. Um... maybe go catch a movie or something, or since your birthday is close to Halloween, have a themed b-day with games you'd play for a halloween party.
