There's not really a 'best' anime, but alot of people Like Bleach, Naruto, Deathnote....

umm i guess its just an oppinion i like bleach naruto inuyasha vampire knight death note trininty blood i tihnk theres one callled soul reaper ummm idk those r some at the top of my head o and Hellsing

Like everybody else said, it is all opinion, there is no 'best' anime out there. Personally I like Eureka 7, Elfen Lied, Death Note, Naruto, Bleach, and Ouran High School Host Club.

Do you mean a personal "best" anime?
Because there is no such thing as the best anime. It is as all the posters before me said.
I could recommend you some anime to watch:
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (Old school ftw!)
Gundam MS 8th Team
Paranoia Agent
Pokemon biggrin
Those a few good anime, in my opinion.

Best is a matter of opinion I think Deathnote, Kuroshitsuji and I've only read the hellsing manga but It's very good.
