I'm sure most of us have seen at least one horror movie. At the rate they are being made (and remade) lately, it's seriously unlikely that most folks haven't seen at least one.

What's your favorite horror movie?

Even though many horror flicks seem to be geared towards guys, it is said that in actuality, the makers of those movies have to be at least partially aiming for the "fairer sex", because without females, horror movies would be total box-office flubs. Agree or disagree?

Best horror movie monster/villain of all time?

What is the first horror flick you ever saw (and gave you nightmares!)?

And just for a small dose of "hidden racism": Why is it that the black characters always seem to die in horror movies? biggrin

I dont have one. But I seem to beleaning more for excorsict type movies.

Agree. There's just something about the girl who's running and trips over nothing that aggravates the audience. That makes horror movies.

Best horror movie monster/villain of all time?
I cant say but my top three are Jason Vorhees, candyman, Pin head man.

Tales of the hood. I still enjoy it and it still scares to me to this very day more than any movie.

LOL. Because the black character tries to save everybody when they split up.

Hmm probably the cheesy ones back in the 80's like Child's Play and the orginal Elm Street.

I find most horror are pretty Misogynist in terms of graphic violence towards women and all. So I don't get how they draw in intelligent women who have taken one too many Woman's studies courses. Anyway I suppose they do draw both sexist in an odd way. Girls like seeing other woman getting maul and torn to sheds.

Plus the fact that all that gore and s**t actually happens to people and I can't really look at 65-90 hours of that stuff.

Best villain: Jason or Freddy I suppose.
First horror movie: Bride of Frankenstein.

Black people die first because we run fast, use common ******** sense, and generally would pop a cap in a b***h that tried to ******** with us. Therefore it's logically to take the Black folks out first otherwise the movie isn't believable. (In Hollywood terms anyway)
