I found it funny that Edward looked like he was going to puke in the movie when Bella walks in Biology.
Also, Jasper does not look like he's in pain. He looks constipated. And really, the elder Cullens are like "Oh, he's not used to not eating people. La la la, we'll send him off to school!"
Plus, it seems that humans excrete pheromones through the backs of their necks. Mayhap that's why tis such a high when the vampies is suckin' neck blood???

I didn't want to be a masochist and watch the movie, but I've seen that clip you're referring to. Most people go with he jizzed himself. Ω

Actually the blood itself is a high. In the unseen world blood is directly related to psychic energy, which, if you take someone's blood out of them they lose energy too.
Anyway I think he was supposed to look like that lol

The whole Biology thing, I just think that Bella has a very bad body-odor. And Edward is a drug addict.

Me and Isa came up with the pheromone idea because it was only when the back of her neck was uncovered (and she wasn't bleeding) did anyone seem to react to her smell.

Me and Isa watched the movie to laugh at it. We needed a good laugh and the movie's bad acting provided it.

At first I thought it was because...well...aren't the veins/arteries a little close to the skin in your neck, which somehow the vamps can smell out? Then that arises new questions. Why not go for your wrists?
Anyway, about the actual scene. Jasper kind of made me laugh. Because it was so stupid! Did they tell him to look constipated? Why the hell did they tell him to go to school? If they wanted him to become a 'veggie vamp', why don't they just lock him in the basement and shove a squirrel under the door every few months?
The biology scene... burning_eyes I agree with everything everyone has said so far. Plus, out of all the freaking lines in the book, they MADE HER SNIFF HER HAIR!?

I lol'd so hard at that cheap little edited shot floating around on the internet that says "jizzed in my pants" with that scene. That scene was like, even funnier than the half-assed acting and special effects.

Then that arises new questions. Why not go for your wrists? James bit Bella Sue's wrist in the first book/movie. I thought they bit the neck/wrist because that's where you can find you pulse.

Maybe it's because the neck is closer to the heart than the wrist :/ Dunno. But Sparklepires don't care because they miss out on the nutrients that are humans.
