A few months afterwards, I bought an iPod, and thought I'd try the game. Anyways, here's what it's like:

Here's the title screen, complete with the voice that goes "*Bong!* Resident Evil FOUR!". The story is set in chapters, which you can select and also replay.

After completing chapter 1, you can access the merchant before starting any other mission. Here's also a screenshot of the opening sequence.

The controls are prety much the same as the Gamecube version, with a virtual joypad that controls movement and aiming.

El Gigante makes an appearance, as well as the various forms of Ganado.

Oddly enough, the game ends after defeating Verdugo, which was a disappointment. The story ends abruptly too, where Ashley hasn't even been rescued.
So, anyway, I bought this for £3.99, and it'll probably cost $7.99 in the states.
I actually thought it was worth it. Each level you complete in Story Mode unlocks two levels of the Mercenary Mode. In the Mercenary Mode, you get more challenging missions such as escort Ashley to a certain point etc. rather than just plain killing. Missions successfully completed will earn money, which can be spent in Story Mode. The Merchant also sells ammo now, which makes it quite handy too.
The inventory carries over from chapter to chapter too, so if you get a certain weapon in a chapter, you can replay an earlier chapter and use it there.
What do you guys (and girls) think of this game?
