Okay long story short I joined an RP where pretty much everyone complains my techniques are overdone or overpowered, I only use basic elements (fire, wind, earth etc etc ) whereas the widely accepted villian of this RP has a supposive ability to destablize matter without ever explaining how his own character is immune to such an ability. To further add to this he states his characters only weaknesses are being overcharged by other energies or magics through the absorption or a special metal which he has yet to reveal AKA refuses to reveal. So am I surrounded by godmodders and should I pack up despite showing up their logic or should I stick around and be continually criticized while a villian decimates our characters effortlessly despite his own powers pose no threat to himself when he never specified how hes exactly safe from it?

Here's my advice: If a villain is godmodding, GODMOD RIGHT BACK! They did it first, after all. Contact a mod, if needed, and ask him to look into the rp and maybe hand down a little divine judgement. And if, despite what you do, the godmodders get all butt hurt about your response, then pack up and leave. If they aren't willing to play far, then pull the plug and walk. I would stick with an rp if any godmodding occurred.

It's a redundant subject now, I quit out because they continued to reinforce and then later increased the stupidity of their double standard. Thanks anyway Rachetgirl for the advice I'll remember in the future.
