 They had found a hill with an incline enough to dig out a den, and within the following months the two of them had gotten to know each other well enough to live within the same den, and even to share the same meals. For the longest time Tu had dominance issues and ate first but then letting Baka eat what he left behind. Though he always left something behind it was still the fact that he didn't trust her enough around his kills, or even her kills. Many times he'd chased her away and took her kill as his own. Showing his dominance over her, but now he had taken a new turn, a turn for the better. he actually brought her kills, and didn't touch them, but instead went on another hunt to get his own kill.
To be blunt, either wolf was beginning to gain some extra weight, which for Tu was nice for a change.
This moment was just after the day came to an end, both had just finished their daily meal and headed back to their den. Tu was in the lead and stopped just before the den before looking back at Baka with a curious cocked eyebrow. "How long will you follow my lead?" He turned fully towards her...

Baka had followed every lead he gave her. She did not complain or make a fuss, she was just going along with it. It was her way. She had simply found something else to do, such as playing with her lovely white ostrich feather until it was her turn. She didn't let anything phase her. Again, it was how she was.
Push her aside and she'd keep moving.
She had found herself a few meals when he didn't leave her enough and this didn't bother her. Then, he started to bring her things and she was delighted. Her brush wagged each time. She was starting to fall for him.
She lifted her head and cocked her ears. "I don't know. Why?"

Blinking slowly he cocked his head to the side, and lowered into a fully defensive stance, as if he where defending the entrance of the den, he growled deeply but didn't bare his teeth. Then he snapped out at her and barked threateningly, a bark that meant he was going to kill her.
As his body lowered and his ears folded back following by the scruff raising up on his neck and shoulders. His eyes beamed down at her as if she where one of the vermin he brought home for her to eat. She'd seen him hunt a few times and if she took even a slight glance at his facial features, this look he was giving her was the same he gave those that he killed in a mere few seconds.
The moon reflected off of his blinded eye revealing he had come out victorious in many life or death battles. She was only a pup in his eyes, but there was a reason for his rage. If she was going to have his children he didn't want a puppy watching over his offspring. he needed to see what she would do given a life or death scenario. He'd tested her before, and each time she'd passed with at least a satisfactory level reply. Now with this complete turn of events, and the fact that he shown no intent to let her live anymore would prove to show how much of a back bone she had.
Snapping at her again as a threat, he stopped moving for a complete second then lunged at her, attempting to rip at her throat and to crush the flesh under that soft fur of hers. She'd have to survive at least one wave of his furry. If she could survive he would forever be loyal to her...
This was also how the wolves of his pride accepted new members into his pride, and if he was going to start a new pride, the queen of all people needed to be as equally as strong as him, if not physically then at heart and soul...
