I didn't plan on having him going SSj4 o.O
I always thought that SSj3 was epic enough, so tail or no tail it didn't make a big difference. Without the tail he looks better.

he could just wear the tail like a belt as most saiyans did. razz and he doesn't have to go ssj 4. a tail just gives him the option. lol
