Basic background

Naomi discovered her power when she was very young. (around 5-6). She didn't understand it at first. It started with people doing what she wanted them to do without her having to ask. But there was one person that wouldn't do anything that she wanted. Her father. Her dad seemed the have some kind of resistance to her ability. So, Naomi got hurt. Her father was abusive and beat her all the time, and always seemed to be drunk. he would come home and start yelling, and no one could stop him. One day, when She was about 8, Naomi met a boy named Reno. Reno was her same age and had a special ability too. Naomi always went to him for comfort, and stayed with him when she didn't feel like facing what waited for her at home. Reno always wore hats in school and Naomi never saw him without a hood or a cute baseball cap. One day when they were 10, Naomi ripped off his hat and discovered that he was a neko. However, that only made them bond even closer. and as they got older, their lives were consumed in developing their powers, making friends with similar powers and soon, creating a gang by the name of The Madness. Naomi practiced her mind control so often that Now she can practically control anyone, and make you believe anything.
