I haven't looked into this much, I tried googling it but found nothing Concrete.
Is there a guide out there explaining how this works and how to use it? Or can anyone help explain it to me.

Get the skill at level 45 at Magatia.
When using the skill you get a dropdown menu for you to select what you want. You can disassemble items for monster crystals, make monster crystals, or equipment for your own class (both genders). But only for your own level range. You can't make stuff higher than your level. (At least that I know of)
You can create monster crystals, which are necessary when making any equipment, by using monster's etc. drops. The higher the level of the monster the drop is from, the higher level crystal you get; this doesn't mean that you can use [Level 2] crystals for [Level 1] equipment, you still need to have the right crystal.
There's also the upgrading crystals. You can use refined jewels, minerals, crystals (DEX, LUK, etc.) to create different leveled crystals which enhance your equipment. Occasionally you can get lucky while making a basic crystal and come out with an advanced or intermediate.
1 Refined Ore = 1 Basic Crystal
10 Basic Crystals = 1 Intermediate Crystal
10 Intermediate Crystals = 1 Advanced Crystal
That's pretty much all there is to it.

Very nice info Taerk-kun, here's just a tid bit more.
Lv. 45 Maker Skill gives you only lv. 1 of the skill, it maxes at 3, and you can't put sp into it yourself, at 75, you can do another quest to raise it, and at 105, you can max it, when you max it, it's great because you can see all the pretty Reverse/Timeless equips for your class *Sparkly Eyes*
The quests are all real easy by the way, maybe cost a good bit though depending on what you got to work with.

BUT ONE DETAIL MISSED!u can ONLY make weapons and equips OF UR CLASS!lets say ur a warrior and want to make a weapon for ur friend,who's a theif.u cant make a weapon for the friend cuz of class got it?

I'd like to thank all who helped me here smile
I was able to succesfully Make my Black battle Empress 10Str 7Dex (Adv gems) and mirecoulously scrolled it to 42Str biggrin
