I would probably have a lot to say about this if I hadn't just discovered the thread and weren't so tired. Anyway...I always feel that way. There was no one epiphany or if there was it was so long ago that I forgot. But I just seem to know stuff like this so it's always hard for me to put in words and understand with my conscious mind. I live like this, ever since I've been a little girl ( like 5 or 6).

i feel small. especially in real open areas.
i suppose it first hit me in my school library. the ceiling's so far away and the space is so vast. i just sat their in awe, staring at the massive size of the room.
it still stuns me.
i feel, sometimes, that i'm so worthless and unimportant... like in movies how there's this giant force that sends hundreds of bodies flying randomly, how they're all too little to stop it in any way, and all they can do is scramble. an unstoppable massacre. it's just this excessive slaying of all these little screaming, flopping bodies, so miniature in comparison with the dominant force that, with disturbing ease, kills them dead. all at once.

so, do you write poetry often? because, I can't tell if you intended it to be that way or not, but your response was very poetic biggrin
