Name: Falora Age: 15 Gender:Females Sexual Orientation: bisexual Craft: N/A Rank: Candidate
History: Being the oldest of her siblings, Falora enjoyed many years of her father's graces. She was a treasure to him. He was fascinated by how quickly she learned and grew. He taught her songs, and games. As a small child she was pleasant to everyone around her. The others in her age group got along with her well, she was never one for fighting. More often she was the one breaking it up. The littlest girl with the biggest personality.
The arrival of her little brother gave Falora something more. It was as if she now had a purpose. It was to protect him. When he was a baby she would visit with him, bring him things, sing to him. As he got older it became apparent that he would need no protecting. By the age of 9 he could lift her onto his shoulders.
It seemed that time passed slowly from that day on, until her father fell ill. He was stubborn and refused to see the healer, saying that a illness would not stop him from providing for and taking care of his family. This continued until he was found collapsed out in the fields. By this time, the sickness had taken too much strength from him, and he died. Her mother held strong, and continued to raise and provide for Falora and her siblings.
After her father's death, Falora became different. She became withdrawn and quiet, preferring to stay out of others way. Then the search rider came, and Falora was chosen. She was reluctant to leave her family, but she saw the chance of impressing a dragon as a great oppurtunity, and consented to go.
Appearance: Falora is actually quite pretty, with dark brown hair and bright hazel eyes that can either look green or blue, depending on what she is wearing. Her form is short and a bit mousy, as she stands at 4’11. Slightly wavy bangs are usually covering one eye, and her naturally wavy hair cascades to the middle of her back when not pulled up. Her skin tone is very light. Her face is heart-shaped, with arching eyebrows big, a small nose, and wide eyes framed by long lashes.
Clothing wise, she prefers tunics and trousers over skirts and dresses. She usually wears neutral colors.
Personality: After her father’s death, A small change had come over the once very cheerful girl. She is still herself, still kind, but there is now a dark streak. An ever present sadness behind her eyes. Its almost like a small shadow occasionally passes over them but it will usually disappear after a moment. She often uses her hair to cover her eyes completely, but when once she gets more comfortable with someone, gains a bit of confidence, and will show her eyes, as well as speak openly.
One thing that does cause her to come out of her shell, if only briefly, is when someone wrongly accuses or insults anyone. Falora is fericely loyal to her friends and can have a very sharp tongue when they are threatened of insulted. Much to her chagrin, when her dander is up she'll lay into anyone regardless of rank. This has caused her problems in the past.
She also has a serious dislike of healers, which goes back to when the healer at her hold refused to help her father while he was sick without his consent until it was too late. She blames all healers for that one's actions.
She has a bit of a clumsy side, and has a knack for tripping when there is nothing to trip on. She tends to stutter a bit when she is embarrassed, unsure or scared.
Other: N/A

Hey Nata! A couple things we'll need you to edit:
- We would rather not say something so widespread happened, such as an illness that effected an entire hold. Events of that nature need to be made canon for the entire shop, since other characters than just Falora come from the hold as well. It's okay for some of her family to get sick, but it has to be a plausible reason. (Such as they get the flu and refuse to see a healer until it's too late.)
- A dragonrider would not take a girl who did not want to go, even if her mother "made" her. She would have to go of her own free will or they wouldn't Search her. Especially because she is a girl going to Telgar. Telgar mostly only searches girls who they think can Impress the gold, and a candidate who refused to come with them wouldn't leave that impression.
- The character is nice, but seems to lack flaws. She's gentle, mature, heroic, observant and kind. All of that is fine, but she needs some flaws, too. Does she judge people too quickly? Get jealous too easily? That kind of thing.
If you could just edit this we'll be glad to approve your application. <3

Thank you!
However, we actually meant personality flaws. Being clumsy is not a personality flaw, it just means she's not graceful. Being shy is also not necessarily a flaw, as it can be looked at as endearing / charming. Stuttering out of shyness is much the same.
We need at least one flaw that reflects a bad side of her personality, not her grace or her speech. Again, things like being jealous, judgmental, forgetful, mean to children, being spiteful / biased against a certain group of people (such as being sexist against men) or anything of that nature will work.

Unfortunately, I still don't see any flaws. D:
She's the perfect sister, the perfect daughter, and as Noya addressed earlier, shyness and clumsiness are not really personality flaws.
Tell us more about her social interactions with people, since right now I can only see that she's shy and she's an observer. Not everyone is going to react to that in the same way, and there will be times when she's forced out of that and must become something else. How does she react to that? If she had a choice, what kinds of people would she approach and what kinds would she stay away from? Is she judgmental of people? Does she have any prejudices from growing up in a Hold? Even though she's peaceful, what if someone insults her family or says something about her father? Is she jealous of other people who have families, or does she get angry when people are flippant about their parents and say unkind things to them?
She needs at least one serious flaw, and by this we mean something negative about her that is entirely "her fault" so to speak. For example, to say that being clumsy is a personality flaw would be the same as saying that being ugly is a personality flaw. There needs to be something in her nature that carries a negative connotation no matter what the situation. Make sense?
