One superstition says that if a girl leaves her house early on Valentine's Day and the first person she meets is a man, then she will be married within three months.

I never did like those kinds of traditions razz One is interesting though. 'Chestnuts roasting on an open fire' can refer to when the girls/ladys in the house would right the names of two men they couldn't decide on, on two chestnuts then put them both in the fire. They would wait for one to pop. I just can't remember if that one is the one they were meant for, or the other guy razz
