I finally got a job after a good month of looking on and off!
I've got about 5 days a week working at Deserres, a local art supplies franchise : 3

If being paid just over minimum wage isn't good enough reason,
the people I'm with are super nice,
I'm three stores away from the gal I'm sweet on,
AND I get 35% off almost everything in the store : D

So, where does everyone else work?
If you're not working, where have you worked before?

Oh dear...So I'm not working now. I just can't really handle the workload from school as well as work. Plus, the more hours I'm available to work in the clinic at school (I need 500 hours down there to graduate) the sooner I'll graduate!
I'm SORT OF working right now. As in, I have a shop online ( http://mugoiusagi.etsy.com ) where I sell earrings I make. Support your starving college student!

In the past I've worked at a summer camp as a counselor in charge of 30 9-12 year olds hiking and running around and having a lovely time. I've also worked as a model for an art class during my undergrad, a tutor for third graders (loved that job!) again during undergrad. I've also been a phone operator in a survey thing (calling people and administering surveys). And worked in administration calling potential students. I've held a number of jobs these last few years! lol

			            xDI could never work at a clothing store;
I just don't have the style xP

Those earrings are actually a cool idea ^^
My sister spent her summer as a camp counselor too, but with less kids, since they had mental disabilities

Apart from this job, I've only worked one place before, when I was 15
It was at a fast-food restoraunt in an ice-sports complex, and it was hell Dx
But, 4 years later, and I'm finally working again : D

Thanks! I'll be posting stars and penguins soon too! (Buy my earrings! lol)
My first job was at an icecream shop. It sucked a**. I pulled some muscle in my arm, my boss was a money grubbing idiot, and I had to ask people if they wanted nuts on that. I will never work in food again.

14? I thought legal age was 15...Well...no that's CT. Must be different other places. If you can avoid it, don't work in food. It's by far one of the worst first jobs a person can have.

I haven't personally experienced it, but I do know in what order that ceiling lowers.Making the most: White men
 White women
 Black men
 Black women
 Hispanic men
 Making the least: Hispanic women

Hopefully I won't experience hitting that glass ceiling. As in, like, it won't be there in my profession. But I doubt that. Why do you ask Yama? Is the white man keeping you down? (because obviously according to the statistics it's always a white man keeping us down!)

I've done so many women's rights products I should know this stuff like the back of my hand. Yama and I have this one particular class here in Hawaii that is..upsetting. They do a lot of finger pointing at haoles (white "foreigner") for allegedly screwing everything up. I did find it interesting though, that amidst all of our professor's complaining and moaning that he'd never heard of the Glass Ceiling. Well, now they know. -gets frustrated at thinking about this class all of the time.-
Well, yeah. I work at Target. I've worked there for 4-5 years this November. (Whao... time flies...and a lot changes. Haha.) I'm pretty excited how good that will look on my resume once I get out of school and say "¡adios!" smile
