I know we all love saiyuki...but I wondered...what do you like especially about it? The plot or char or action ect.
as for my opinion, the chars are the main theme but I like how the whole thing is a journey...like the journey through life...like in the Linkin Park song they say "the journey is more important than the end or the start" that's what saiyuki is like...so those of you who want an end...forget it...there's no end till you're dead and even then it may go on...

I love so much about Saiyuki... I love the characters(or most of them) and the story. I think the manga/anime plot is better than the original book that it's based off of.

I would have to say I like the characters and the plot as well. Kazuya Minekura is just a wondterful manga other. She always keeps you guessing though out the whole series. I just really got into it when they started to bring up Gokus past aka Gaiden. I also love, in the manga, when Hazil comes around. It gets very interesting and is quite diffrent from the anime. (I just got the 4th vol of Saiyuki Reload xd )

i love saiyuki but its taking really long to journey into their pasts, or character development. but! i can see the climax starting tocome up (i'm on episode 39)

Asking me what I like the most about Saiyuki... that's a question that won't be answered with a single response. You will get many responses from me. Let's see, I love the characters personalities, weapons, the plot, action, humor, and Goku always being hungry which ends up having Gojyo fighting with him, then Sanzo either stops it, or gets involved. ANd Hakkai just keeps driving like nothing's happning. 3nodding
