Well, state marching festival is oday. We play second to last, and it is 2 hours away(yay! Fun bus rides! And we get a picnic!) Wish us luck!

i'll endit this post when I get home telling what we got. Hopefully, you will see a superior or better up hereXD

Edit: Well, not a superior, but it was an interesting day. We were supposed to leave the school at nooon for a two hour bus ride to maricopa, but our district decided that thy would see if we could all fit on what bus. We shoved the idea in their faces. Seriously people. We have used two buses all year. Why would we all of a sudden decided to lie to you? We made good time though, so all was good. then we got a nice lunch att he wamrup area, which was i'm not sure whether a elementary, middle or daycare. Then we dressed and warmed up.

Now, time to do our shoow. We do alright. We think we do as good as a superior. We take our pictures and by the time we return the last band is done. We sit on the track and start cheering. now is when it starts getting bad. A band from our area started chanting along to our cheers, cheering "Overrated" and other rude things and pointing at us. We were mad. Then awards come aroud. They announce the only good. It was the rude band, also one of the better bands. We don't know whether it was because of their bad behavior or not, but it seems real likely because as I said, they are a really good band. I have a feeling we won't see them again. Their Bd will not be happy.

Fianlly the scores: Excellent. We were disapointed. again.(state judges are rip offs!) And then captions: We only got general effect. This year they are starting a state championships, where the top 10 bands at state go and actually compete for ranks 1-10, and those are the top 10 bands in Arizona. So they begin naming those bands off. They start with a few from the first half. There are five of them. We are getting worried. Then the second band away from us gets #8. Which means there are 3 bands left and only two spots left. We know the last band is going to get it. They got a superior. finally, they say our name! They skipped right over our rival band(not rival school. We just hat their band. Now they are overrated[litterally. They re always getting superiors, but they suck]) and went straigh to us. We were bouncing up and down,s creaming, hugging. We are so happy. Top 10 division 3 band in AZ! Our emotions in order:

Except: The college it is at is even farther away then the state marching festival last night. We perform at 9:30 am. Which means call time is around 4-5 am. And we have a playoffs football game>.>
