Misery loves Company  Roleplay: OpenName: Syked Pronounced: sigh-kud Nicknames: Sy Gender: Male Age: Adult Race: Malakite Mate: - Offspring: - RolePlays: none yet: Both timid and curious, this young male's preferred method of satisfying his desire to know and understand is through observation. He's quite fascinated with the new arrivals, though he's kept his distance from them. Although these new aliens, humans?, look very strange, they seem to have similar social behaviors. Males and females care for their young, the smaller being more helpless than the larger young which also seemed to help out their adults. Their interactions, what he can glean from watching, and the structures they make, are both similar and different, and Syked is eager to know more.
When it comes to confrontation, Syked is an avoider. He'll mention that he's not happy with something only once, and then back down to avoid an argument or conflict. Still, sometimes he's really quite upset by the other taking advantage of him, as he often sees it, and odd misfortunes occasionally plague such people for a time. He's not very gifted socially, and doesn't always know how to express what he's trying to say, or fully understand the implications of what another might be saying. He sometimes takes people purely at face value, while other times seems to read absurdly into whatever they say. What makes the differentiation? Honestly, he has no idea. Just a feeling to keep his eyes open.
