And I use mouthwash
Sometimes I floss
I got a family
And I drink cups of tea

- Ella
winced when the teacup resting in Rosies hand shattered, sending a splintering sound through the air. It had been rather idiotic of Yule to flick a paper ball at the girl who obviously had socializing and dealing with people issues, especially after she told them what most of her abilities were. The British girl sighed as Rose darted off, before standing herself and going quickly to the end of the lunch-line to leave her empty tray there with the dishes packed on top to be cleaned.
Ella came back over on quick feet and gathered her jacket, slipping it on before looking at Yule.
"That wasn't smart, you know. Towards someone like me, who could laugh it off or throw it back, maybe. Towards her, no." She raised a brow at him.
"I'm assuming you're going to be a gentleman and at least make sure she's not blowing things up?" With that, she turned on her heel and darted out of the dining hall to find Rosie.
She worried about the girl. While she no doubt had a wall of hostility placed around her that had no doubt served her in years past, people like that were usually the most vulnerable ones, the ones that buried everything they felt or suffered through inside to fester like a disease. It went against Ella's very person to let someone feel like that if she could help them. She didn't know if this impulse came from her heritage or from her up bringing, but she wasn't going to question it.
