http://www.theotaku.com/worlds/this_heart/view/120491/lolita_rules/Okay, the link above is to a blog I have on Theotaku.com/, and the particular post is on the rules of the Lolita dresser. If you don't want to go to said link, here they are: 1.) The Lolita fashion promotes modesty. 2.) ABSOLOUTELY NO CLEAVAGE! This is a big no-no! 3.) You might get made fun of for wearing it, but don't get dishartened, they're mostly jealous. 4.) Your hair, bags, and accesories are just as important as you blouse and skirt. 5.) The Lolita fashoin is based off of victorian fashion, so, be sure to remember that Please critque mine if they're wrong, but can you come with any more?

The seam of your petticoat must be facing northeast at all times. lol sorry. I just wanted to throw in something random.
What about something about skirts being around knee-length?

That they shouldn't be too high up, unless you'd like to look like-well, a girl that doesn't care much for herself. HAHA! That was pretty funny though.

Ooo! I wana try!
Yuki rule 1: Don't go crazy with the make up, because it takes away from the 'sweetness' (unless it's Gothic Lolita, then you can have a make-up palooz!) Yuki's rule 2: umm...No gold teeth and bling bling?

I know a very good one...
- Be confident.
You might get a bit of staring or rude comments when you're out in Lolita. It is best to be confident about wearing Lolita and not let the negative reactions of other people shred you to pieces.

Use manners. If some one acts rude to you, dont act the same back.
And be careful about high-heels. They shouldnt be extremely high.

I would say realize that when you walk out in your lovely lolita clothes you may be the only lolita someone on the street may ever see. Sad as it is, people may form opinions of the entire sub culture that is lolita, so if you act like a b*tch (pardon) they may associate the fashion with that attitude. I'm not saying its a rule to be polite and fussy all the time, but maybe hold your head a little higher and smile more.
Oh and no cheap lace is a good rule. I second wearing underwear just as a general policy.
