How do you like to decorate your pumpkins?

Let's see some pictures of pumpkins past, favorite pumpkins from around the web (try 2 give credit if you're sharing something off deviantart, ect), and when the time comes lets see this years creations too!

That looks awesome. What did you carve it with?

This one is from last year. He was half orange and half green. I'd never seen one like that before. This year, I discovered there are also tan, white, and white and orange pumpkins. I feel so...behind things. o_o

I used mostly a pottery tool called a ribbon tool. It's like a thin loop of metal on a wooden handle.

Oh, okay. I've been thinking I need to get something new to carve pumpkins with. A steak knife only goes so far. xd

I've used n exacto knife on some too, but the walls usually have to be pretty thin. Those little pumpkin carving kits actually work really well for details you just have to be careful not to snap the blade off the handle. xd

Probably, I always seem to snap at least one every year. thats why i try to get the little packs without the pattern books, I don't need the dang patterns and I dont wanna pay extra for them. xp
