Uxmal Jungle Vice Captain

Kifu'Ini's small frame blended in quite nicely to the shadows of the undergrowth. Her bright brown eyes nearly glowing in the shadows. Her small paws barely making a sound on the well used path that she was currently traveling. The woods on either side of the path were silent. It had been some time since she had heard the sound of a bird or another B'alam.
Her ears twitched as the sound of water reached them. Peaking her curiosity, Kifu paused. Her tail flicking as she debated investigating. Giving into her initial pang of curiosity, Kifu left the path.
Moving quietly through the jungle, she soon came upon a small waterfall. Here she paused, peering out from the underbrush at the scene in front of her.

Iyriddelmirev was laying next to the pool of water. She was upon her back with her paws gently laying upon her chest. Her nine tails were spread out. Each one twitching at their own pace. Iyriddel would convince anyone that they had a mind of their own. Though, it was a habit to twitch each one of them different ways. She almost didn't notice she was doing it. Her eyes were shut, but she was far from asleep.
Just enjoying the sound of the land and relaxing. Her back legs where stretched out. She was truly comfortable. She let out an easy sigh as she listened to the rustling and cracking of the earth. Birds flying over head, distant creatures upon the ground and in the trees. She couldn't tell how close are far they were, but it was like music to her ears.

Kifu's small nose twitched as she took a deep breath in. Taking in the scent of the larger B'alam. Her posture relaxing just a hair as she realized that the stranger was a female.
Kifu remained still for a long moment, watching the larger female curiously. Her brown eyes swirling with the need to explore. With a twitch of her own tail, Kifu stepped out into the clearing.
"Hello" Her voice was soft, nearly drowned out by the running water.

Iyriddel didn't jump nor open her eyes. She continued to lay perfectly still. The other was down wind, but she knew it was young for the voice. "Hello, my child" She said gently. She still made no move to ruin her relaxing lay. She was quite comfortable. While most wouldn't have heard the small cub, Iyriddel was already tuned into every sound in the area, so even a small stick that fell, she'd hear it, even if barely. "What brings you out here?" She hadn't seen a cub in who knows how long. Though, she tended to avoid families. She couldn't have one even if she let a male try to seduce her. Iyriddel was very much infertile.

Feeling more secure by the response, Kifu'Ini stepped firther into the clearing and towards her. "I'm just exploring ma'am" Kifu kept her gaze locked on Iyriddel's form. Giving a slight rustle of her useless wings, Kifu settled onto her hunches. Content in the warmth the sun provided the clearing.
"What are you doing out here?" Kifu asked, merely to fill the silence. It was obvious, that Iyriddel was relaxing in the warmth.

"This is my home." Well kinda... Anywhere was her home. She had no real place to go back to each day, so she tended to just plop down and call it home. "At least for today" She said with a smile that crossed her face. She finally opened one eye releasing a bright red glow from the sun, which soon became just her red eye looking at the black cub. Wasn't exactly what she was expecting to see. The cub looked tattered and abused and left to die.
Both eyes opened and she slowly rolled to her belly. One back leg hidden under her, but the other still stretched out. Her paws crossed as she shook her head. "I'm Iyriddelmirev." She told the young one.

Kifu nodded as Iyriddel spoke, it was quite common to find B'alam who just wandered around. Kifu herself was one which did. As she introduced herself, Kifu flashed her a bright smile.
Relaxing even further, the longer she was there; Kifu decided it was only fair to introduce herself as well. "I'm Kifu'Ini" Her gaze leaping from Iyriddel to peer at the water nearby. It was impolite to stare after all.
