-I noticed the announcement, and looked over the guild. I'm mildly interested, so i'm bringing one of my characters here.-

Appearance:
5'6" and built for fighting, Jiv'undus is wide shouldered and centered with rope style muscles for short, compact movements of power; he is built very burly and powerful, odd for his race. His skin is more blue then purple, and his silver white hair is cropped short; rare for a Drow. His gray eyes glow in the darkness, and they show very little about his character or personality; they are voids. More often then not he is donned in full armor, a face mask covering much of his identity, and the cloak helping that even furtherer.

His features under the mask are very average for a Drow, drawing no special attention from his looks, at least among his people. Humans sometimes find him good looking, though in most eyes he is entirely average for his often gorgeous race.
Personality:
Biography:
Jiv'undus was born in Sshamath; to a minor House fluent in Necromancy; and though a small and low ranking house commanded a level of respect for there both male and female Necromancers. Jiv'undus was born and even named as an expectant high level necromancer in his adult hood; but it was for naught. His Matron Mother soon found he had utterly no skill in magic, and at first he was going to be sacrificed to Lloth for his weakness; but his father, a skilled necromancer suggested he be sent to Menzoberranzan to train with Melee Magthere, and once he was thirteen he was indeed sent there.

He was taken under the teachings of a mid level Master of no real house and only advanced level skill in a room full of masters. He quickly rose the ranks of his fellow students; many trained by high level masters simply due to his abnormal size. Built burly and standing a full five inches taller then your average drow male by age fifteen he simply over powered the more skilled students during the games of war in which the boys trained. Melee Magthere lasted fifty five years.

After graduating from Melee he returned to his home, a city covered in portals with no entrance or exit other then portals, he found his house no longer existing. A houseless male he was sure to die, so he paid for a portal to the surface world, this is where he met Priests of Vhaeraun, who took him in due to his large size for his race. He became a Knight amongst there ranks and fought the Lady of Dances priestesses at many turns, until two years ago Vhaeruan was killed by The Lady of Dance.

He once more returned to his home, the City of Portals. His connections with the still powerful Vhaeruan clergy allowed him to travel freely within the city. He obtained a trinket of Home travel, which would always open a portal to get back to the City of Portals. He has since begun to randomly travel portals, some leading to entirely different realms of existence. Where he arrives next is more up to chance then a plan, he simply searching for a way to revive Vhaeruan.

Armor:
Helmet/Mask:
His helmet and mask, though not connected, are always worn together. They are made of giant spider carcass, making them flexible and leather like but stronger then steel. The helmet bears the jewel which prevents most forms of Mind Magic from effecting him, except for the highest form.

The mask, beside hiding his identity; is enchanted to protect him entirely from inhaled poisons of any sort.

Right Pauldron:
The large right pauldron is also made of giant spider flesh, making it flexible like leather but stronger then steel. It is enchanted to provide great strength to his entire right arm, making him as strong as an ogre; in the right arm only.

Left Pauldron:
The smaller left Pauldron is once more made of giant spider, flexible as leather and strong as steel. It covers only to his mid bicep and absorbs magic of any sort that directly hits it, though it can be by passed by incredibly strong spells.

Right Bracer:
Made of giant spider flesh, flexible as leather strong as steel. The right bracer is mid forearm length and has no enchantments of any sort; it simply is used to protect his wrist and forearm.

Left Bracer:
Made of giant spider flesh; flexible as leather and strong as steel. This bracer reaches to the elbow and is heavily enchanted. With a simple willing of it a kite shield shaped buckler will form on the bracer and is made of rigid reinforced steel.

Heavy Cuirass:
A cuirass made of Adamantium; it is a single solid piece that is powerful but not very flexible, it covers only to the waist and is nearly impossible to pierce by brute force. Due to its placement it does not much effect his movement.

Thigh Guard/Belt:
A thigh guard made of giant spider flesh, strong as steel and flexible as leather. It is a thigh length guard and belt which is designed to defend against leg slashes and attempts to cripple his movement. The belt has a jewel at the clasp which absorbs magical light sources as soon it comes into contact with them; protecting his sensitive eyes from magical blinding effects.

Greaves:
Made of a rare giant spider renowned for its speed; it is no stronger then steel and about as flexible as leather but with one major bonus. It, at a whim can drastically increase his speed for exactly ten steps before having to stop, rather then simply magically push him; it increases his physical agility and speed by suddenly and rapidly growing his leg muscles beyond natural limits. The only reason the limit is ten steps is it were to last any longer he'd tear his leg muscles.

Piwafwi:
His Piwafwi; or 'cloak' in common is; much like the standard Drow cloak, heavily enchanted. When the hood is drawn over the head, the wearer becomes almost invisible to normal sight, akin to an invisibility spell, and infravision, thanks to the heat-shielding properties of the cloak. Note that is only blocks his heat, he is still physically visible. But due to his natural talent for sneaking he would be difficult to spot.

Unlike most Drow Piwafwi; which are made of spider silk and other materials this is made of spider flesh and fang, and then woven with magical fibers to get the same effect. If puffed out it can catch arrows in its thickness, and the symbol on the back is a Drow symbol for 'For Hire' or 'House Less', normally a dirty word among his kind.

Weapons:
Selvetram Zweihander:
A sword stolen from a Selvetram Knight; it is a two handed sword about five feet in length and single edged. It weighs about 6-7 lbs; the average weight of a two handed sword. It is enchanted, but Jiv'undus has no ability to invoke them as they are faith driven. It is known to be able to cut through any substance in the world and even return to the callers hand at will, but as a former follower of Vhaeraun, Jiv'undus cannot use its enchantments. It is still a formidable blade made of solid steel with an Adamantium core.

It is carried on his back in a sheathe, its hilt faces left over his shoulder and is hidden by his Piwafwi.

Recently, due to Selvetram's death the swords magical properties no longer exist.

Elg'cahl House Swords:
Simple steel short scimitars; they were given to him after he graduated Melee Magthere; they are not enchanted nor are they special in any way. A basic set of weapons given to a lowly soldier. They have his old house insignia on it, a Spider curved around a group of tied up humanoids.

They are sheathed at his hip, both at right side and are often drawn reverse grip when he is ambushed simply to get them to bear quicker.

Physical Skills/Racial Traits:
Sword Fighting:
His swordsmanship is proficient, but not at a master level by any means. Relying heavily on his magical armor and pure talent his attacks are often straight forward and easy to read to a master or even skilled opponent in single combat. He lacks the understanding of using feints and battle position, but his blade movement is good and he is developing. His talent and room for growth is high, a skilled master could turn him into a powerful force; as well could vast amounts of fighting experience alone.

Infavision:
Also known as heat vision. He can switch his eyes from the natural spectrum in which light forms his view, or can switch into a very powerful range heat vision. In losing detail he is able to see in any conditions and any weather. Bright flashes of sudden light can badly damage his eyes.

Globe of Darkness:
He can call forth a ten foot by ten foot globe of magical, impenetrable darkness. Even he can't see inside it, but vast amounts of training has taught him to be able to 'see' with his other senses when necessary. It lasts about ten minutes.

Stealth:
Natural and trained skill in stealth has made him a master by human standards, he is only average by Drow standards. He can move with very little sound and blend perfectly with darkness and shadow, even in day light. His talent is average, his room for growth is above average and his skill level is average. A master or experience could make him an advanced level assassin or stealth fighter.
