Lion walked down the hall still wet from the hike to the High Hopes Manor. Alaster and Calendery close behind her. The hall was a little dark at this time of day and there wasn't much natural light from the window at the end of the hall. Lion and the pups pasted many unmarked rooms, knocking on a door here and there peering inside trying to find one to suit them. Close to the middle of the hall They found a nice sized room that they could live in. Lion opened the door slowly hearing that it creaked a little. "We will have to get some oil for the door." She said stepping into the room. To her right there was a nice four poster bed with blue and yellow pillows and blankets on it. At the foot of the bed was a nice sized trunk with some unusual carvings on it. "I guess that is for storage" Lion thought to herself. "It sure is nice." Looking to her left she saw another door. Walking to it, she grabbed for the door knob. Giving it a small twist. It wouldn't budge. "Darn, It won't open. I wonder what is in there." Lion turned looking toward the bed. Alaster and Calendery were atop the bed lounging. "And what do you two think you are doing?" She said to them smiling. "Trying out my bed?" Beside the bed was a night stand carved like the trunk. She walked away from the locked door to it. She ran her hand across the carved wood. "Wow, This is better than I thought!" Opposite the bed was a small window. Under the window was a dresser. Lion crossed the room to the dresser and placed her pack on top of it. "Well, I guess I better get out of these wet clothes before I get sick.
Opening her pack she began to dig thru it, getting her clothes out and placing them in the drawers of the dresser. Picking out a warm sweater and another pair of jeans. She pulled off her wet clothes and threw then on the floor beside the bed. I'll have to find a place in here to hang those up to dry." Putting on the sweater and jeans she continued to unpack. Getting close to the bottom of her pack she found a ball and tossed it to the pups. Hearing it bounce on the wood floor, she turned toward the bed to see what pup would get it first. They were fast asleep on the bed. Cuddled up like a ball to keep warm. Lion giggled at the sight of them.
After unpacking and placing a picture of her sweet moonlit's on the night stand she decided to have a look around the Manor and see if she could help with getting the fire going in the Great room. Walking out of the room she pulled the door halfway shut. "I'll leave this open a little" She said to herself. "they will come find me when they wake up."
