Story Title: Shinju 1412 Author: I Love Dandelions Type of Fanfiction: Multi-Chapter Genre: Romance, (I know it's gonna be cheesy!) Drama Characters: Shinju Kinyo, Shin'ichi Kudo, Kaito Kuroba, Heiji Hattori, Ran Mouri, Description/Summary: Shinju falls for Phantom Theif 1412, yet is still confused about what's going on with everything. Rating: PG This is my first fan fiction. Anyways, I may not have some facts correct, and I kinda made some stuff up, so don't put hate comments saying how this whole thing's stupid. I'm just doing this for fun~! Enjoy. Please. Chapter 1 BOOM!!! I screamed at the loud noise. I looked out my window, and saw a large hole revealing inside Dr. Agasa's house.
"Doc, why can't you test your experiments when I'm at school?"
"Sorry Shinju! I was just working on my new invention! My solar-pwered jetpack! Except I slipped, and blasted a hole in my wall." He chuckled with his whole face covered in soot. "Stupid old nut-job."
I got ready for school, and went over to his house to help clean up. Ever since Shin'ichi let me live in his house, I had to deal with Dr. Agasa for a while. I got used to it after a few weeks. "You have to be more careful next time. I'm just gonna stay until Shin'ichi's parents come back, y' know."
"Yes. Yes. I understand. You're just like Shin'ichi you know."
"Pft. That know-it-all detective has nothing in common with me! Now, hold still so I can put this disinfectant on you." He laughed.
While I was walking towards school. I passed the Mouri Detective Agency. Shin'ichi and Rachel came out of the building. I complained to Shin'ichi, "Ugh!!! The Dr.'s been making new inventions here and there! How do you take this?!"
"Years of practice..."
"You're lucky you're still living with Rachel!" Rachel joined in, "Yeah, my dad's been complaining about why he has to let a rival live with him."
Shin'ichi replied, "If it weren't for me, he'd still be the drunk loser he was before."
He laughed, but Rachel hit him with her bag. I laughed, and we walked on to school.

Chapter 2 We got to school, and I followed Shin'ichi and Ran to class. Kaito was sitting in class acting like an angel. I rolled my eyes, and sat by him. Heiji sat by me and Kazuha followed next to him being protective as always. We always sat together as a group. It was pretty fun having them as friends.
Kaito was being annoying with his magic as usual. Shin'ichi kept talking about his cases, and Heiji kept arguing with Shin'ichi about who was the best. It was stupid, but I enjoyed it everday. For some crazy reason. I sat there, doing the assignment. They all finished it. Ugh. They were great, but I felt left out being the only dumb one. Shin'ichi kept teasing me, but I teased him back because one time I solved a case he couldn't crack. He was always annoyed that I always brought that up.
Class was finally over, and I followed them to the next class. Aoko, Kazuha, and Ran left to their other classes. I was left with the annoying triplet trio! It wasn't that bad, except for their excessive arguing!!!
"Remember that one case i cracked, Kudo!"
"Yes, Heiji... But I'm still the best in Japan!"
"What about 1412? You guys are still looking for him."
"Pft. He's nobody. He's just a regular person. He doesn't keep anything, and he would never hurt anyone."
I broke the conversation. "Who's 1412?"
"WHAT?! Are you that slow?" They all said.
"What?"
"He's like the only thief that can easily get away!"
"You guys still haven't caught him yet?"
"No." They confessed.
"Bet you I can catch him." They all burst into laughter. Shin'ichi spoke, "You? Shinju? AHAHAHAHA!!!" I smacked his mouth.
"I'll find him before you all do."
"Wanna bet?"
"Deal." We shook hands.

Chapter 3 The moment I let go of Shin'ichi's hand, I regretted everything I said. He was a detective!!! I was only a high school student, that can't even finish my assignment at the same time as everyone else!!! I didn't want to back down now. I just had to do extra research now. Great...
After school, I walked home, and dropped Shin'ichi and Ran off at The Mouri Detective Agency. The sun was going down, and I didn't want to walk home in the dark. I ran towards my street, and got there panting and huffing for air. I took my key out, and opened the door to the empty mansion-like house.
I felt lucky to live here. I could still remember the words Shin'ichi said to me when he gave me this house to live in for a while.
"Fine, but when our parents get back, you're getting out."
"I know. I know. Gosh, my parents are away at sea, and they leave me here with you."
"Hey! You're lucky our parents know each other, or you'd be stuck at you're aunt's!" The thought of living with my aunt gave me shivers. That old lady's been grouchy ever since my parents got married. She HATED me.
I ran upstairs, and used his computer for some research. I didn't know who 1412 was, but I was sure he must be hard since even Shin'ichi couldn't catch him. There were some photos that some people took. He looked amazing. They said he stole the most famous jewels in the world. He was amazing. From reading about him, I felt like I didn't want to catch him. There was no point. But the question is, Why is he doing all this?

Chapter 4 This 1412 was giving me shivers. He was so exciting and fun! I loved reading about him. I looked at pictures, and memorized his face. I looked at each little note he sent to people of warning for his next theft. I didn't want to put him in jail. There was no point. He must be doing this for a good reason. He wasn't dumb if he's this good, so there must be a reason for his crimes. But what? What was he doing?
Nonetheless, I needed to see what he was doing next. I searched up where and when his next crime will be. I saw the note he gave the task force, and he was headed for the "Star of Africa". I looked up where it was, an it resided in the Tower of London. I ran to go pack my bags. I'm going to London.
Shin'ichi was probably packing too. I called The Mouri Detective Agancy, and Ran picked up. "Ran!"
"Huh? Shinju? What is it?"
"I need to talk to Shin'ichi! It's impotant!"
"Okay." Shin'ichi grabbed the phone.
"Hello?"
"Shin'ichi! Did you find out where 1412's headed?"
"No."
I bragged, "Really? Well...It so happens that I figured out where."
"Really? You lie!"
"Mm-hm. I'll call you when I get on the plane."
"Wait! Don't do that! You don't know if you are right! What did his not say?"
"I couldn't remember, bt it was something about the "Star of Africa"."
"I'll go look it up, but do not leave until I call you back!"
"What?! But I packed, and I'm sure that's where he's headed!"
"You don't know that!"
"Fine! But you're calling me back IF you figured it out."
"Bye."
"Bye!"
