Why do so many people judge gays its not like we're bad people we're all the same besides liking the same sex question

Possibly because the Bible gave homosexuality a bad rep.

Since Sodom and Gamorrah...

People after that have blown it out of proportion. They look at us now like heathens...as if we are what they (the people in Sodom and Gamorrah) were. Though we are not.

People are judgemental period. And not just against gays. You can't single out homosexuals. And actually...more and more people are opening up about it. Since the late 90's or so...from what I've seen...people have opened up way more to it. When I was a kid though...if you even gave a hint of being gay...you got beat up. And I was the one helping beating up the kids.

People usually feel threatened by new or different things, so they act against them, a lot of people are afraid of change, or things that they don't understand, they think it might affect their life style somehow and they don't like it.
