Ryld thought in the back of his mind, with a fleeting smirk, what a feat this was for someone merely competent in magic to undergo. He, for a brief moment, nearly held complete control of this House's treasured seer if he had wished her harm. But there was nothing at all for him to gain at this point unless he were successful in recuperating her powers. And he intended to be. Emotions had flashed on her lovely face just a moment before she really fully separated from her body, Ryld saw the moment of realization about what he had done to her. She was not pleased. But he continued. The mage's confidence could not be shaken.

As sweetly and calmly as he had divided the seer's body from mind, he switched his chanting spell to direct the ancient energies her way. The entities would meld and unite with her body and spirit to truly leave Yasrena in a lifted empowered state she had, as he could presume, never encountered before.

The mage had lifted his staff. Taking it into his strong hands standing over the table, he brought it up above the female's prone body and for all appearances intended to slam its end through her midsection. The staff's lower half, with sharp angry words from Ryld commanding a spell over it, dissolved into lurid green and brown trails of smoke. Snake-like, they ran over the seer and Ryld used this conduit to channel energies.

Waiting. Waiting.

Finally the sensation of tiredness started to tingle at the mage's fingertips and at the back of his mind. He couldn't hold the pathway open any more, but it should have been quite long enough. Ryld relaxed and took his staff away from Yasrena. The foggy smoke quickly cleared though unfortunately the bitter smell from his first concoction still lingered some. The mage stepped a few footfalls back from the table to lean against the counter, staff at his side, watching cautiously for the female's reaction.

Yasrena was still calling him every possible horrible name she could think of, too angry to pay attention to anything that he was doing. When she finally looked down, it looked as if he was about to stab her directly through her toned stomach, and she screamed out in absolute terror, thinking this would be the last thing she would ever witness before leaving this world for good. Quickly she turned away, hiding her eyes with her hand, but nothing happened, she didn't die. Again she looked back, only to see that the staff dissolve into green and brown mist with a powerful command from it's master. The mist looked like live snakes crawling all over her body, and she didn't the equivalent of a shiver, for she absolutely hated the creatures.

For a few long moments things were silent. At the end of the silence the mage pulled away, taking his staff with him and came to lean against the counter. He looked a little wary, as well as slightly afraid, which made her smirk. Good, he better be afraid, for when she awoke he would not live for very long. For some time she floated up there above her body, not sure what was happening, so she drifted back down to her unconscious form, and touched her body's forehead. Right away her body sucked her back within. Back inside her body, she felt stronger and more powerful than she had ever felt in her entire life. Energy coursed through her body like liquid fire, singing in her blood, burning in her veins.

The female rose from her lying down position, and opened electric blue eyes that absolutely shone with power. All around her body the air seemed to crackle with electricity. The woman forgot all about being angry, coming to stand in front of Ryld with a wry expression. Raising a hand she came forward, moving it behind his head and tangling her hands tightfully in his hair, digging her nails into the skin of his scalp. Leaning in she pressed her lips against his own ferociously, tracing the inside of his lips with her tongue before pulling back, breathing heavily. Just before she could move in for another savage kiss, her eyes got that far away looked, and she gasped loudly.

Her newfound energy crackled like electricity around her body, and she saw everything as if she had moved back in time, the most clear and powerful vision she had ever experienced. Yasrena was back at the cafe, and she watched her body give orders to the waitress on what she wanted to eat. It didn't seem very important, so she followed the woman to the back of the little restaurant to where the food was prepared. She watched all of cooks prepare her meal, watching very carefully to see if any of them slipped something in. She spotted nothing despite her close watch, so it must not have been in her food then, but rather in the tea she had ordered. After a few short moments, she spotted the waitress in the back room.

Nothing looked suspicious, but someone came through the back door, obviously an assassin, for he or she was dressed completely in black, their face obscured by a strip of cloth covering the bottom half of their face. It was nearly impossible to tell if this person was a male or a female, for they were shapeless underneath all the black clothing. Either it was a small male, or a bit of a larger female. The assassin came to speak with the waitress, and he handed her a tiny glass vile filled with a clear liquid. The waitress nodded, pouring the potion into her drink before bringing it out to her. Once the cup of tea was set down on the table, the woman nodded and raced off to the back of the food area.

Very quickly she joined the assassin, and together they watched as Yasrena drank the tea, falling over like she was about to die. Unfortunately for them, they had left before the little female brought Yasrena to Ryld. For all they knew she was dead, and they had accomplished their mission for whatever House they had come from. The vision faded, and Yasrena came back to herself, her eyes alight with anger and malice. Now she knew who the poisoner was. Next they would have to return to the little restaurant, find the waitress and torture her into telling them what House she came from and why she had been ordered to kill both a Seeress and Priestess from House Faertala. "I know who tried to kill me," she said quite calmly, her voice augmented with power, the air around her crackling with energy angrily.

Ryldirahc had been uncertain after completing the transfer. He wasn't questioning the effectivenes, but rather the reaction from the seer. Would it take long, before she could have her vision? Would she have time to make good on her threats? His heart pounded when Yasrena rose, thinking of all the names she had just finished screaming at him.

But no. He grinned with relief. Even he could feel the hot pleasure of all that energy and power! Ryld was feeling a little drained himself, but Yasrena was clearly intoxicated with it. The female pulled in for a vicious kiss. Ryldirahc responded with a rush of fearful reluctance. If those nails digging into his scalp were any indication, she was not going to be able to restrain herself at all. He could still be in danger. Somehow the mage was both disappointed and relieved when Yasrena abruptly began to see something.

His strong hands braced behind her back instinctively when she drifted into her vision. The anticipation was killing him. She certainly couldn't be angry with him now. It was definitely worked.

Ryldirahc nodded gravely, "Tell me what you need me to do."
