She opened the heavy oak door, and it was a whirlwind of activity, with many species. Dwarves were making metal work, Mages had a whole section (picture scene from van helsing and you have it) An old man with a beard down to his waist waddled up to Charles and bowed deeply. "This is for you my prince, This dagger can kill any species, it's enchanted to return to your hand and not work for anyone but you. It will warn you when people approach, for it will vibrate in it's scabbard like it wants the blood of your enemies. It is made from the steel of the dwarves, and the dwarves, and the mages have worked together on it for you. I hope it's balanced properly." He turned the handle toward him so he could take it.

Rose smiled, "Of course Charles, but make sure that if you use it, that you dispose of the bodies, I don't want the police knocking at my door. But please take another of the coven with you. I know you love your solitude, but you are the next in line to rule, and there are many out there that don't have your back. Take Marius with you, you both are about the same age. If not, please be careful." She touched his cheek thoughtfully.

"So Damien, what do you think, can we go to the Labrynth, with a few of our mages, and perhaps you can show us where you came to be here from the future?" She really wanted to find this because the Lycons had been rattling the peace treaty between them, by a killing here and there. Perhaps in the future, they had managed the problem.

Rose's eyes widened in surprise. "Is this true, have you seen it then? Perhaps you were sent by your grandmother to avert this tragedy. " She went over to the mage that had the amulet. "Give me that." She took it and put it around her own neck. " If this is the instrument of our doom, then it will be in my keeping only. I'm sorry Damien, but I am taking this and it will always be in my care till we can find a way to destroy it. I'm sorry if this has sentimental value, but I am now fighting for our race. As matriarch of our coven, it's my responsibility to destroy this, and hide it's remains from anyone who would hurt my children.

It is indeed a summoning article, but it is more than that as the boy has said. It is Dwarfish craftmanship, and has magick from elves, but the most interesting was the spell cast for summoning, it was cast with dragons blood. A powerful witch made this amulet, with very powerful friends, and with the age of witches nerely matching our own, perhaps you can scry to find the witch that made this. She may be in another time period, so you may have to use magick and astral projection to talk to her. "

Rose nodded, "I have the witches art, I will use this to scry the witch that made this, and see if I can find how to destroy it without destroying ourselves, if it's as powerful as the mage has said, destroying it could be like a hurrican." She looked at Damien, "Come and learn my son."

"Well we will find out when I locate the witch that made it won't we? She will tell us if it is that closely linked to your lifes energy, but realize, you drank my blood, it's like I turned you again, the chances of you dieing ever isn't that great."

Since Charles and Rose were linked, she saw him hacking away practicing with a tree. "You look ferousious when fighting a tree my son, but we do have a sparring field, and vampires you could spar with if you wanted a more realistic type fighting. I may show the range of the blade, and we heal so fast it won't harm them."

"Come Damien, I have a room where I like to scry." She went to one of the many libraries on this lower level, and stood in front of a bookcase. "Bakka" she said in the ancient vampire language, and the bookcase rummbled then opened. It was made so only her voice would open this room. Inside the room was tapestries on the walls of vampires gone before. A huge basin stood in the center of a pentagram that seemed to glow from the stones themselves that made the pentagram. The walls were lined with candles and candleabras. All the candles were different colors. Rose blew on the first few candles, and every candle in the place jumped alive. She smiled at Damien. "My mother was a witch/vampire and her mother before her. A very unusual mix of powers we have. " When she motioned where he was to sit, she put her hands together chest high in a prayer motion, and said "Mothers of the earth, and the four winds, I ask for admittance to the temple of the Rose." A rush of wind make the candles flicker like a thousand stars. When she stepped into the pentagram a very definate shift in the energy could be felt. She walked over to the basin which was filling with water out of nowwhere, and took the amulet out, and held it in her hand over the water. "Come to me witch of old, one who made this tricket bold. Four winds and guardians assist my work. So this amulet will help not hurt."
She said it with such power the candles almost went out leaving them in utter darkness, then they flamed on again. ((leaving you chance Damien to write what you are feeling about all this going on.))

Rose sighed, "As you wish son, hack away." She went back to her spell. The basin turned dark black, then a face appeared...an elfin face. "Why have you called upon the Queen of the elves vampire, you have not right." She noticed the amulet, "Where did you get that? That is mine, it was stolen from me." Rose, said, "My son was brought here through time with this, what kinds of wards are in this? If I break it will it kill my son?"

The power was swirling around her, and her hair was standing straight out as she was in the center of the pentagram.

Charles goes back to the house, tired and some what hungry. He looks around if his mother is there, but she is not. he goes up to his bedroom, then asks for some food. Charles went to his bathroom and took a bath.
