it is sad...why couldn't they do it a different way instead of killing off characters.... sad

I kinda wish there was another way to do it too, but they couldn't just leave it at he joined the army and never came back to see anyone ever again... I guess it could work, with all the great writers and everything .. plus killing them off is extra dramatic.. lol

because I'm too lazy to look up the episode of Grey's on youtube or hulu, and (unfortunately) I haven't been keeping up much anyway lately (school and whatnot get in the way) would anyone like to be a darling and post a not quite blow by blow but rather in depth synopsis of ze premiere?
