Physical Description:
Stands at 5'4", with an average figure for her height and age. Her mother insists that she wear her hair long, and so it comes down to her waist. It's been heavily lightened by the sun, but would otherwise be dark brown. Her hazel eyes are set in a decently pretty, pleasantly-rounded face.
Personality:
Setal is, in short, tough as nails. If she's pushed down, she'll jump right up and chase after whoever dared to do it, with every intention of giving even better than she got. She will do the same for any member of her gang, as she is extremely loyal. As far as she's concerned, her faction is her family, and she doesn't associate with members of other gangs beyond what's necessary.
Once Setal has made up her mind, it's nearly impossible to sway her. She is very rigid and set in her ways and views, including an unconditional belief in the Way Things Work at Igen, as it's how she was raised. She will only ever Stand if there is a Queen egg on the Sands, and looks down on girls who would do otherwise; females should ride golds and leave other colors to the males. She is vocal in her disapproval of girls on fighting dragons, and will even scold members of her own faction if they make the mistake of disagreeing.
If she should fail to Impress, she will stay in the Weyr with hopes to become a rider's wife.
History:
Setal is a Weyrbrat, and has lived a life typical of one. Her mother worked (and still does) in the Weyr's kitchens, and claims that her father is a brownrider; as she has always declined to reveal which, however, it remains an unsubstantiated claim. As soon as she was old enough, she joined the Flying Wherries, and has been an enthusiastic member ever since. She particularly enjoys their raiding of Rising Sun's flit territory, and will participate whenever possible.
