Brandon smiled and turned to face her. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." he said, pressing a light kiss to her lips.
"They said they would stay the night if need be. So, we don't basically." he said smirking and looking back up to sky, beginning to spot the first stars that were lighting up, as the rest of the city was slowly going out.
Brandon sat up a little and grabbed a strawberry, and took a small bite out of it. He turned and leant on his stomach next to Brook. To any passer by, they would've just looked like two young adults, on maybe their 3rd or 4th date and smitten already.
In the last year or so, both Brandon and Annah had no doubt forgotten that in the bigger scale of the world, they were just growing up. And still growing up. With a little bit of struggle when they first met, sure, but now, probably in the best way possible. With each other, and now with Tyler.
Brandon hadn't realized it completely until Tyler had started trying to speak, trying to call Annah 'mommy' and him 'daddy'. It wasn't till then that he understood fully what they were now- a family.
From now on, no matter what happened between Annah or him, they would always be in each others lives somehow, because of Tyler, their child. And that was a crazy, scary and wonderful thing, all at the same time.
He turned to Annah and offered the strawberry to her. "You ever imagine you'd be here at 18?" he asked.
"With someone like me? With a baby?" he continued, knowing that he himself never imagined to have a baby at all, let alone a baby that would be turning one not long after he turned 21.

Annah smiled. "All night? Whats the occasion?" She chuckled. She leaned over to kiss him for a moment.
She was looking directly up at him, kissing down his neck and chest, the little bit that was showing at least.
It was true that anyone that was passing by probably thought they were just horny teenagers.
Brandon brought a strawberry to her lips and she bit off the tip, smiling like crazy. "Here? With you in a park with a baby? God no." She reached up, gently stroked his cheek.
"I thought I'd get out of the institute and go back to what I was doing." She shrugged a bit, sitting up, she took Brandon's hand in hers and played with his fingers absently.
"But I'm much happier here with you- With Tyler." Annah bit on her bottom lip softly.

Brandon smiled. Yeah, he pretty expected that what he'd do. Get out and do it again, only this time, maybe a little better. It was that or just go places. Just him and a backpack and just walk wherever he felt.
That was pretty much out of the question now.
What they were in now, almost felt normal, even though it was far from normal in ever sense of the word.
Brandon got up onto his knees and looked around. The park was empty, and the streets were clearing up too.
"You wanna go for a walk?" he asked, looking down at the brunette. "I don't really know or care where.." he said, smirking, his lack of organizational skills making an appearance. "You wanna go on a walk to anywhere with me?" he asked again, rephrasing the question more appropriately.

She figured she'd go back to her old ways. Slut, drugs and the music. But this... this was far from that. She had grown up so much so fast. More than any amount of therapy could do for you.
Realizing that you had another life to take care of growing inside of you, did that to you.
"A walk?" Annah smiled as he continued, fumbling for words. She had to giggle at that. It was cute, something he used to do often. But that was only when they weren't comfortable with each other.
She was tempted to ask if something was going on, but she held it back, not wanting to ruin the moment.
"Of course," She stood up, reaching for his hand to bring him to his feet as well.

Brandon took her hand and stood up, and began to lead to way through the park. He didn't worry about leaving their picnic stuff behind, the grounds keeper had assured him that after showtime hours they would be the only two people in the park.
Brandon made conversation, mostly about their day, little moments with Ty that made him smile, and the film they'd seen; he'd really enjoyed it. Filmmaking and music was something he could've been passionate about when he was younger if he wasn't too occupied with trying to kill himself. He'd have been a great musical composer.
They walked along a meticulously groomed path, with perfectly shaped vines and flowers growing along the edges, painting the underlay of gray with blossoms of colour. Brandon didn't really have a plan of action. He just wanted to enjoy this evening with Annah. Saying that, the small square in his jacket pocket seemed to be burning through to his flesh.
The path came to an end in front of them now was a lake, surrounded by the greenery and with a small wooden platform in the middle. The water was a surreal navy and purple mix, with the shine from the moon and stars reflecting wildly on the surface. It looked near perfect.
Brandon looked at the platform in the middle of the water. It couldn't be too far away. He looked around, and then at his girlfriend next to him, and in that moment he felt his age for the first time in forever.
"You wanna check it out?" he said, raising an eyebrow and biting down on his grin.

Annah was walking hand in hand with Brandon. They looped around the park, just the two of them. It was completely dark, aside from the moonlight peeking through vines. It was the perfect park, really. Flowers flowing in different directions and all.
Someone worked hard on this masterpiece.
They happily spoke of things that normal married couples would talk about. Their kid, their jobs, and the movie they just watched.
She turned to look out at the lake. It was gorgeous, possibly the most beautiful scene she'd ever seen. When Brandon asked her to check it out, she was already releasing his hand and kicking off her heels.
Annah took off in a full-out sprint towards the dock. Once her barefeet touched the wood, she sped up, heading out to the center, where there was a gazebo type thing set up.
"You can't get me!" She giggled, feeling free.. and like child.
