Appearance
Height :: 5ft1
Hair colour :: Somewhere almost exactly between Blonde and Brown, a dark honey colour with a slightly darker under layer where the sun can’t reach it.
Hair style :: She has left it to grow quite long so that loose curls fall about half way down her shoulder blades. She keeps it trimmed neatly, and it’s often held back from her face by a head scarf, usually in a blue colour. She has bangs that she’s been growing out that lay down to just past her chin unless she can keep them tucked behind her ears though they often tumble into her eyes.
Facial Features :: Enlali has a rather heart shaped face with fairly high cheekbones and rosy cheeks. Her nose is fairly average in shape and size, but is dusted over the top by a speckling of brown freckles. She isn’t what you would call stunning by any stretch, but there is a certain homely and most definitely feminine charm to her features that some might find attractive if they wanted a more gentle woman for their wife.
Eyes :: Her eyes are a warm, medium brown that usually seem to have a soft smile to them. They’re gentle, though they give away what she’s feeling rather easily as it isn’t really in her nature to try to hide her emotions. If she’s happy, they will smile, if she’s sad they’ll show it.
Complexion :: She has fairly tanned skin from time spent out in the sun working on weeding and taking a meal out to her father and brother while they work, and staying out to talk with them as they eat. She’s never been kept indoors so the sun has had time to kiss her skin.
Build :: For the most part Enlali is of rather petite proportions to go with her rather diminutive height. She has however lived a good life during her eighteen years of it so far, and has never wanted for comfort, rest or food. Her figure is soft and feminine, with curves where they should be and a pleasant roundness to her arms.
Clothing :: She wears clothes styled for the purpose of comfort and practicality rather than visual appeal. Skirts and blouse like tops which either lace or button up tend to be her favourite, trimmed with very simple lace around the cuffs if she can have it, and often a little on the large size as they were often her mother’s which she has worked herself to take in, waste not want not after all.
These are usually in soft cream or beige tones. Her skirts tend to be long, down to the floor brushing her simple leather shoes and trimmed with brighter colours, blues and reds, but only in small amounts for the most part. The main fabric of the skirts tends to be similar to the tops she wears. Her outfits are usually finished by a bright coloured sash in various colours tied around her waist to work like an apron, only slightly more colourful and a set of rather roughly made knotted bracelets around her writs.
Jewellery :: She wears very little jewellery as it happens, for the most part she just has twisted strings tied into bracelets and occasionally into a necklace with a wooden bead or something else on one of them.
Unusual Features :: She has a small, dark, almost oval shaped birthmark on her left shoulder, it’s only about half a centimetre in length, and about half as wide.
Personality in brief ::
Enlali was brought up to be very well mannered and respectful to her elders, and kind to her peers. She had a fair number of friends when she was growing up, and always managed to be well liked. Though life was never all fun and games, there was always work to be done, the kitchen to be cleaned, clothing to be repaired, she was always a happy child, and never wanted for love affection and attention from her family. She has ever had a sweet disposition and a willingness to help others if she possibly can.
The happiness she felt as a child has continued into her first venture into adulthood. She smiles readily and is rarely ever affected by timidity or shyness. She loves to speak with people and finds the lives of others fascinating tales if they will tell them, but she will always step away from any situation where she perceives herself to be an irritation as she is aware not everyone will take to her forward nature to well. Her nature is generally affectionate and she takes to people easily, and also trusts easily as well, a feature which she is only vaguely aware could be a slight disadvantage to her. She always attempts to think the best of everyone until the proof cannot be denied.
Despite all of this however she will not be easily pushed around. If there is a cause she feels strongly enough about either following or not, she will stand her ground and until you can provide a satisfactory reason for her to change her mind, it is not likely she would do so... There are moments when her perfectly sweet nature can slip away into a moment of mild silliness or even a rather quirky comment or two, these tend to only happen around people she isn’t afraid of offending in some way however. She has a very strong sense of humour and enjoys to laugh and play as her life has been fun for her, she doesn’t really know any other way of acting.
Since a fairly young age she has had a tugging fear of the dark, there is no real reason behind it other than the fears of a small child never quite leaving her. It is not a crippling issue, but it can cause her some discomfort and lead to her seeking out the company of her friends and family some nights or having to sleep with some manner of light. Bad weather at night can often end with her finding herself sleepless.
Personality Breakdown ::
Happy She is happy with her life, both old and new, happy with the plans she’d had, happy with the new ideas that seem to present themselves. She’s happy with who she is, and with the friends she’s making. All in all it takes quite a bit to get her down.
Soft Tempered When people usually come to blows, or at the very least raise their voices Enlali will usually still be trying to placate everything. Or at the very least not involving herself in the disagreement if at all possible, keeping herself quiet and acquiescing if she has to actually be involved in some way.
Polite Her manners tend to be very soft and gentle, she was raised to be demure and to cause as little trouble as possible. She remembers her pleases and thank you’s. She’d rather sort out a situation than call someone on it, and though she can see that sometimes this may be a bad thing, she usually just pushes that worry to the side and views it as a factor of how she was brought up.
Down to Earth Enlali never expects much, never really chases dreams, she’s more than happy with her simple life and she finds no need to aim especially high. There are times when a wistful smile touches her lips, and a dream fills her heart, but she can put them to the side as a fond diversion and be utterly content with her life as it stands once again. She sees no point in hoping or pining after impossibilities.
Hard Working As was the way with her upbringing Enlali is used to giving every task she undertakes her all. Her family worked on a farm, and she was always expected to pull her weight as much as any other member of the family. That is one ethic that she’ll probably never shake off, no matter how mundane the task she is required to perform.
Naive Having spent a good deal of her life in a fairly closed off environment, knowing that she would grow up, find a husband and have children, Enlali’s knowledge of the big wide world is slightly limited. It would not be difficult for someone to ‘take her for a ride’ so to speak, or to ‘pull the wool over her eyes’. Basically she isn’t good at knowing what could be wrong with the world.
Trusting She see’s very little reason to think the worst of people, so right off the bat she is usually inclined to trust they have no reason to have ill intentions at heart in any way. She presumes everyone is as uncomplicated and lacking of motive as she herself is, and thus can very easily be led down the garden path so to speak.
Talkative In general she is a friendly person who rather like to chatter away with friends as much of the time as she can. She doesn’t’ usually seem to be affected by awkward pauses as she’s fairly happy to just carry on with some chatter about something inane.
Silly Jokes and teasing and slightly silly behaviour are not above her, if she ends up in high spirits then it wouldn’t be an unknown event to have her playing around, laughing and acting the fool for a time, just letting go and having some fun with her life.
Forward Enlali is usually more than happy to step up to people and initiate conversation, speak her mind and generally be anything but introverted. She is however mindful of manners, social status and decorum. She would not speak out of turn, but would not shrink away from a conversation with a superior if it were initiated. If she has an idea, she is not one to keep it to herself.
Outgoing Quite the opposite of shy, Enlali is more than happy to be the centre of attention, the implementer of a plan, or the butt of a joke as she is to be simply following the crowd. She is in no way retiring and generally will make a point of being herself without finding any need to hide who and what she is. She is not one to hide at the back and hope not to be noticed, but equally, she won’t mind if she isn’t.
Stubborn If she thinks honestly, completely and totally that she is right about something, then it is not utterly unknown for Enlali to dig her heels in and stand by her point. Usually however this only comes into play when trying to get her friends to have fun, try a dish, or go places with her, as usually she doesn’t put a good deal of weight behind her actual opinions as she presumes, not in an unhappy way, that others know more than she does, and she is often happy to defer to their opinions as long as she can see the sense.
Fearful There are a number of very simple things that cause Enlali fear. The dark of night has always worried her since she was very young, and storms and bad weather often had her, even in her older years cowering in her parents room, or at the very least well under the covers. She is not usually of a nervous disposition, but once something has frightened her even if she is able to move past it, it will be easy for quite some time after that to set her off again.

Likes :: Things to be neat and tidy, being clean, her hair being neat, being neatly dressed, people, talking and laughing with her friends, a good nights sleep, making things, singing, dancing, good music, good food, her family, pretty sunsets, starry nights, warm sunny days, walking out door, muddy fields after rain has fallen, new places and people. The list is ever growing as Enlali is usually delighted with life.
Dislikes :: Rude people, falling down, insults, thunder and lightning, the dark, noises at night, people trying to scare her, being alone for too long, her clothing getting torn, people forgetting who she is, hurting herself in the kitchen.

Enlali's History
Enlali was born, and grew up on a Cothold with her mother, her father, her older brother and two sets of Aunts and Uncles. She spent her early childhood playing with a couple of young cousins while working hard at getting under her mother and fathers feet. She would play in the mud, draw, laugh and generally live a very happy life. As she grew older her mother began to find little jobs for her to do, scrubbing tables, helping to fold clothes, and helping lay the table for meals soon led onto more, cooking, washing clothes, cleaning and helping to keep house, mending clothing and fabrics.
Never for a moment did she resent her life. She loved her family and took great pleasure in taking food out to her father and brother as they worked, and listening to her mother hum and sing as she worked in the kitchen. She was happy, and she remained happy as she grew older.
When her baby sister was born, Enlali was more than ready to take on the task of helping her mother to care for the small baby. She enjoyed the experience and by the time her little sister was able to totter around on her own Enlali was honestly more than content with the notion that her lot in life was going to be that of a mother and housewife, nothing could honestly have seemed more pleasant to her. She never really foresaw any reason that things should change.
Her family Cothold was located between Benden Weyr and Bitra Hold.
