Just to clear up some questions. Project Diva is a rhythm game only released in japan. However it is not region locked so you can play it on an American PSP (Play Station Portable). The game is really not that hard to play even if you can't speak Japanese. The edit mode is the only area where I had some trouble.

In other related news, they are testing the sequel game to this game in japan. It's an arcade game called "Project Diva Arcade".
