She spins round and round,
Creating her own way of life
Nobody knows what she does
For she’s a secretive little fife.
Going about her business,
No one knows what’s she’s into.
It’s not her fault she was introduced
To the most handsomest part of youth
Whether it be drugs, sex, or something else
No one can help her
She’s lost in a dream she can’t wake up from.
It’s scaring her,
It’s helping her
It’s setting her free
If only it wasn’t at a cost…her soul could’ve been released
If not for what she felt, then at least for what she was worth
Poor little Alice never knew the curse
She just took the simple drug that drowned her pain
It granted her ecstasy in her torturous misery
This small infinite girl was torn from this world
Falling down and down deeper and deeper into the Earth
Even the rabbit couldn’t stop to save her
He was too busy with himself
The mad hatter didn’t help
And neither did his friends at the party
The Crazed Cheshire cat just sat and pointed
When Alice couldn’t make up her mind
No one else could either
All it took was one small slip and down into oblivion she went
But maybe it’s not too late
For the Queen of Hearts has quite the temper
She chased Alice away from it all
And taught her a lesson
Now she knows what she needs to be
She knows where to go and what she needs to see
Her vision was once blurred and barred from reality
When she came back everything changed
This poor little girl became a different person
No longer cursed, no longer refrained
From being who she was supposed to be from the very beginning
Poor little Alice had spun round and round
But no one would help her, not even a sound
Now this girl knows what to expect
It’s wise to relive, but never to forget.
