"Somewhere." Ellie said her eyes moving back to normal. She scanned her many shelves of skin-changin potions "How dark?" She asked grabing the self ladder and climing up to the uper shelves. Dark was closer to the sun becaue you became darker the logner you were in the sun. Ellie giggiled thinking, her father had the same organizational skills. She misse dher father, she'd have to go visit him at somepoint. Hoever she'd need an employee to watch the shop. Elenour looked at arterimis, she lokked... ...durable...
"Nice to meet you Art." Ellie said automatically nicknaming the taller woman. "Would you be intrested in anythign?" -Ellie-the green haired wonder

I am standing up at the water's edge in my dream I cannot make a single sound as you scream It can't be that cold, the ground is still warm to touch This place is so quiet, sensing that storm ((It's alright to start the screaming?^+^ I'll fix it up if not...Also, I have no idea what I'm going for.XD Can you say, "Forced paragraphs with no idea what you're going for?" I can! I can!XD))
Artemis waited with a soldier's patience. She did not tap her foot or blink an eye at Ellie, whom of which silly after-effects seemed to be in the norm for her. Art folded her arms and continued to stare.
"Not knowz."
Not know? Artemis thought to herself. She nearly spoke, but held herself back when Itaz began to continue.
"Feelz it, did I, ear... eaghlier."
At this, Artemis lifted an eyebrow and unfolded her arms. Felt it? Now, that was another development. And something, intuition maybe, told Art, that it might not be a good thing. She saw Itaz curl in on herself and frowned. She moved forward, placing her hand lightly on the girl's shoulder. "It's alright." She said, "We'll figure something out."
The fighter stood. She turned to watch Ellie ruffle through her books. She did not understand what Itaz was asking for. The shop, it had to be a magic shop, was one Art had a hard time understanding. Magic...Magic? Oh, what was she thinking? She was only a human with no magical ability. The had to be made with magic, but how would Artemis know? She knew almost nothing about all that wizardry. What she knew was how to fight. To fight, to strategically regroup, to protect, to battle with swords, daggers, and bows and arrows. The woman glanced at Itaz. She may not know anything about magic, but she was not stupid. Only just now did she have suspicion over those tree roots. Did Itaz know magic?
Before Artemis could begin questioning, a sound met her ears. It reminded her of her dream with the never-ending fire. The smell of smoke, death, and rot. It was screams of dieing people. The sort that come from people who wish to escape but know they have no way out. Her eyes widened, her hand gripping her sword handle so tightly that the veins in her hands pushed up and showed clearly. Before a clear thought entered her head, her left hand was already on the doorknob to open the door.
"Nice to meet you Art. Would you be interested in anything?"
Thoughts returned to Artemis's head. Itaz had warned them not to go outside. So, she must not. Slowly, her hand moved away from the door. She had to help! People were dieing outside from...Something! They should have warned them. Like how Itaz had warned Ellie and her. Itaz?
Artemis rounded on the smaller girl. Only a small voice in the back of her head prevented her from yelling. Would they have believed her? Would you have believed her? Itaz and her feeling? No...She would not have. The woman shook her head to try and clear it. She was not thinking straight. What happened to all of her training? It was not right of her to try and blame someone whom she barely knew. "Sorry," Artemis said as she moved to sit. Find them. Find them! She lifted her head, this time, looking at Ellie. An idea formed in her head. She may know nothing of magic, but...She glanced between Itaz and Ellie. She was with two who did know magic.
"Yes, Ellie, there is something I am interested in. Magic. That is what it has to be. And there always has to be someone behind it, right?" Her eye twitched at a particularly loud scream. "Is there a way we can find whoever is behind this?" She motioned her arm to outside where the red, red rain was stealing away lives. Well I've seen them buried in a sheltered place in this town They tell you that this rain can sting, and look down There is no blood around see no sign of pain Hay ay ay no pain Seeing no red at all, see no rain

"Little, pleeze." She replied to Ellie. She hadn't even known about potions to make her skin darker until Ellie had just brought it up- and she didn't know what would happen when she would use it. 'It might just make me a darker shade of gray...' and if that happened she might have to use even MORE make-up.
These thoughts only lingered for a few moments, however, as a sense of dread overcame her. 'What am I supposed to do...? I can't do anything, but...'
She almost jumped out of her skin when Artemis' hand touched her shoulder. Itaz's initial thought was that the woman was going to hit her. However her following words were unusually... kind. "It's alright. We'll figure something out." Artemis told her. Itaz blinked up at her with surprise before quickly ducking her head back down. This was why she didn't even notice it when Artemis' hand had grabbed the doorknob. Instead she remained where she was, back pressing up against the front door that was the way out.
Artemis continued talking, this time asking Ellie if there was a way to trace the spell. Itaz didn't look up but she still blinked, gears in her head grinding. 'I suppose that they could. Maybe. Or maybe not.'

"Peach shade blue shade or yellow polka dots? or just darkened tone?" Ellie asked Itaz thens eh looke dover at artrimes. "Oh I know a ton about majik, I study it after all." Ellie said "I have a staff, and it holds elemental energy in its stone." Ellie paused to turn around on her ladder. Ellie sat down on the step. and looked at art personally. "And I use that staff to channel my majik" Ellie licked the corners of her mouth and looked out at the rain. it would be a bad idea to go out now, but the rain would still be there when she went out to collect it. "Are you interested in any spell books? I have quite a few. They aren't for sale however." Ellie smiled. She thought about tracing spells. "Well you could, but you need to know what kinda spell I think..." Ellie said looking up. She was a novice mage. -Ellie-the green haired wonder

I am standing up at the water's edge in my dream I cannot make a single sound as you scream It can't be that cold, the ground is still warm to touch This place is so quiet, sensing that storm ((Ish ashamed again. zOMG! You are taking over my life...Feel like I'm pushing the limit with this post.XD
EDIT:: Added past the first paragraph. The old post was crap. I'm happy with it now.^_^))
Artemis shrugged un-intellectuality. What on earth did she know about magic? Still..."Novice spell books, too. I would like to see some of those. But, as for what type of spell, I thought you would know." Artemis said, giving Ellie a critical look. "How much magic do you know, exactly?" She turned to the window to wait for an answer. Staring at the red rain, her anger and shame boiled beneath the surface. Her inability to help those screaming was eating her inside out.
Art continued to stare out of the window attempting to think of what the spell could be as she waited for the books to be found. An idea struck her. It's raining thousands upon thousands of gallons of blood from the sky. For normal rain, the water that comes down has to come from some where. Where could that much blood be coming from?
The warrior racked her brain to try and think of where. Monel! Was there not a resent massacre there? Art doubt there could have been this much blood shed in such a short amount of time, but it was the only thing she could think of. Monel...Where was Monel? Artemis stepped away from the window, glancing around. She needed a map. She dug through some pile of books without much hope. Oddly enough, she found exactly what she was looking for.
She found Monel easy enough, it was finding where they were that was the problem. They had passed through the town of Clorie a day ago...There it was! After that, they have been traveling north-west since..."Perfect," Artemis practically yelled. They were already more than half way to Monel. It would only take another half of a day to get there. That is, if they could step outside without dieing. And if Art's thought process was correct. God, she hoped it was correct.
All the while that she was thinking, the screams grated on her ears. Nearly deafening her, nearly pushing her to panic. "Have you found those books yet?" She questioned. She wrapped her arms around herself and her nails dug into her skin, bringing up a few droplets of blood to the surface. Well I've seen them buried in a sheltered place in this town They tell you that this rain can sting, and look down There is no blood around see no sign of pain Hay ay ay no pain Seeing no red at all, see no rain
