My favorite vocaloid would have to be Gakupo. but if more than one, then gakupo, kaito, rin, miku and meiko.

never heard of black rock shooter, and I haven't seen the hagane versions.

Well black rock shooter is an original character that looked really similar to miku, it's basically a Miku song. I'm pretty sure the hagane versions of them are just the regular, but do rock and metal songs.
