[I'm not much into gospel music. My cousin is, so she is the reason I've heard Yolanda Adams, and I'm the reason she's heard a lot of rock and metal. biggrin I like gospel every once in a while, but I'm not a huge fan. I was a big Kirk Franklin listener for a while a few years ago because he was so good at making gospel and God so cool. I never got around to getting his CDs, but I think I'm going to. Speaking of CDs, if anyone knows any really good Christian/Gospel Christmas "albums," won't you please check out the new Xmas Sticky and let me know? surprised ]

Is that the one with the video when he is in the green shirt and beanie and is on the doorstep? Cause I like that song... I love Kirk Franklin. I got it on my Ipod [along with my 'gangster rap' and punk] and I'll be singing... and dancing in the middle of the hallway. I like Yolanda Adams... but I really like Kirk. I'm not that spiritual or religious, but Ill turn it on when Im doing homework and 'jam' to it. Ha. He was on Oprah the other day....

Soul Stirrers... that's pretty cool thirdeye. I don't really know any older gospel songs... but I know Ray Charles put a twist on some, and I loved them, but it upset people of the time...

Yeah that's the one I think he sampled Ashford and Simpson. One time I was a the Speed-e-Mart with my homies and the song comes on the radio and we just busted doin' all the old-school dances, the store owner thought we were on Angel Dust. i'm not real religious either but theres somethin about gospel music I think it's the honesty in the music or something.
