>D sure~ -offers a piece-
Sterren: =.= wtf.
Xi: *bit shocked, actually that he was offered a piece, accepts it, but doesn't eat it* My lovely lunar lady~ *bows lightly with one hand extended, palm up-raised to her, his other hand clutches the piece to his chest*
Sterren: -tilts head and examines the hand- .... -steps back- Why are you on land. -growls-
((She is very angry that she is not in the city in the clouds D;... Very resentful~))
Xi: *looks up when he doesn't feel her touch, frowning softly, for he doesnt understanding what she means* I could take you away with me, a dance on the breeze perhaps? Or maybe you're not so easily won. I am Xiang, my lady, Xiang huo, but you can call me just Xi, or whatever you like. Might I inquire your name?
((How well can they fly anyway? He would float and flutter for her, if he was able.))
((His wings were suppose to be bigger~ I just didnt have time~ D:... Ill give you his updated version when I get on my pc. But theyre small wings a VERY strong~ Enough to hold said katorai + 2 babies. ;o Without falling from weight. So they can fly~ Just like mogs from final fantasy games l3))
Sterren: ... Sterren. Seeker of the city in the sky.. Nice to meet you~.. Xiang Huo is it? -tries to pronounce as well as she can- And no I will not run myself in to any male's arms if thats what you mean.. -lifts her chin to examine him- ...If you want someone easy then go look around these lands.. Im sure there are plenty to run to a sky male's arms.
Xiang:
"Sterren," He spoke her name with care, voiced it as a caress, "How lovely, and lovely to meet you as well. I've never met a lady with such a curious title before." He nods gently when she says his name pronouncing it just fine to his ears. At her declaration he is elated inside, 'All the better' he thinks, but his face shows light shock. "My lady Sterren, no, I'm sorry if my impression had led you to believe such, or maybe my reputation has proceeded me?" He frowns lightly again, as if this worried him greatly. "I only wish to formally greet such a heavenly being, who's body resembles that which lights the midnight heavens. That I should want any more but than to kiss your hand and speak with you for a time... I've disturbed you. I apologize. Should I take my leave?"
Sterren:
"Reputation~ I assure I have not heard it.. yet. Or should you enlighten me.~~~." Stands up straight and curls her tail in front of her... "A gentleman? Or a wolf in sheeps clothing Xiang Huo~ I assure you will not get what you 'want' from me... if thats what your reputation says.. but to sit with me I don't mind. I have no where else to go in such hours of the morning... where I can not even go out of the shade." Lifting her wrist to show her dark complextion. "Of the night."
Xiang :3
"Falsities and rumor-mongers! I assure you. I am no wolf, if there is any that would spread words against my gentle nature. Well, perhaps they are jealous, or they have nothing better to do." His ears had fallen to the side and he looked at her with sincerity in his golden colored eyes, he felt he spoke the truth, that was clear. "All I want is lovely company to pass the time, I adore subtle beauty, my lady, flower buds." His lips twitched into a sideways grin, "The still meadow right before a breeze rushes through and stirs the pollen and grasses into a frenzy. The sound that the stars make. A fallen tree that has breathed its last and now rests, and returns slowly to the soil that once supported it into the sky." Now he sits, crossing his legs and resting his hands on his knees, he stays in the air, hovering the slightest, since he is still unsure as to what she meant about being on the land, maybe the ground was delicate here? And after all, who was he to ruin the ground before a lovely lady.
"Tell me, Sterren." He began, after falling silent he picked right back up again, talkative because he had company, or because he liked the sound of his own voice. "Seeker of the City in the Sky, what does such a lofty title mean for so lovely a lady. What do you do? What does the shade do for you? What, if anything could I do for you, or perhaps something else, please speak whatever is on your mind~"

The stargazer was very struck with the fact he whimsically painted a picture in her head. She didn't like that- it gave her ideas and she was trained by her leader to do no such thing. But stargazing always gave her the rush and brushes to paint her own little world. It was always crushed on an assignment.. and now her 'last' assignment meant she could not return to the city in the sky.. which ached her very core.
"The seeker in which gives her life to restore a 'guardian' and over sees the pack. I used to live naught in the land but up in the sky.. where my home- where my everything is." And it sounded so very said as she said it. "But I am stuck here.. and no way can these wings penetrate the barrier around The God- Jinn's sanctuary. I am just..disposed of here." She shrugged.. "Nothing here to sore my abilities in. Im not of use to anyone- and the sun takes my energy, tires one.. " She looked at him with the very look that one would give a child with too high of dreams and you had to tell them...it can never happen.
"There is nothing one can do when a solider falls. Enough of me- tell me how you came about here- and if any help I can give to you." SHe was stationed under a pair of trees- sitting on a rock below the shade. THIS- was the grand way of her days. Where she had to hide to get ride of the sun- whereas in the sky- the nightlings were upsidedown where it was dark all the time. Her ears slicked back within her hair and let her short hair shake a little to taunt the cool air to sweep it around. The dark star coated tail curling around her as she sat on her legs tucked in.

Xiang had moved to 'sit' nearer to her in the shade of the twin trees, he was curious of all that she spoke of, because he knew nothing of the origins of his kin, nor the hardships which she told of. "I do not know where I came from or my parents, I awoke here, or on land as it was, I was small and I've just always been here. I must admit I know nothing of Jinn, nor this sky city, nor guardians..." He was struck by her sadness and her loss, it was tangible to him, as if he could reach out and take it away, though it would slip from his fingers if he tired, sadness dissipates on it's own or is replaced with happiness in time, it cannot be snatched away. He looked to the sky squinting for the brightness and wondered for the first time at a city, other people living up there. Xi knew some others, he traveled about and was friendly, but the thoughts of a city in the sky and this female that longed to return up there would fill his thoughts.
"I would like to think that I have lived so far, contented, I would like to help you, my lady, I don not require anything, but if it pleases you, tell me more. I think everyone has 'use' that is, is needed, we need others, at all times, at least this one does."

"My ... suppose mate never came to get me." She said as she finished. Then looked to him.. he seemed quite interested in her stories.. and how he didn't know his Kin was a mystery within itself. "How can you help me. You that flies, and my own wings that can't even carry me. I want to believe you.. " She looked away. "But I dunno how." Her ears slicked down again after having a glimpse of some hope.
"No.. Let's not continue. It's stressful as it is.. You have walked these lands you say? What's good about it. I promise I am willing to learn.. I know of just one child that is a darling. If one can produce this... then surely.." She stopped and straightened her back.. As if she would say something but didn't. Just a feeling of regret but it was fine. She had no home and now felt that only being a nomadic gypsy was the only choice she really had.
"You... need?" She looked at him once more with those soft glowing white eyes. "What do you need.. others ? To slow you down and chain you up? Or ... I am confused." All she ever needed was orders- and this last order costed her everything. Even a supposed mate.. Then had helped her many times before on assignments.. and promised he'd be there. And in the end... he never came back. Never came to look for her.

"Abandoned? He is the villain that jaded your view, my lady. Not everyone is so quick to break promises." Xiang was truly shocked to hear that such had happened, he may be a rogue and spread loving words around, but if he was, connected to someone else, he would never leave them, no matter.
"Chance a hope, Lady, that is how," Xi looked sad but hopeful. "Connections of all kinds are needed by things that are living in this world. The ground needs the rain, the sky needs the seas, the day needs the night, needs the day. We need friends, others we can rely on, not just lovers; family, not just for the raising of children. For support. You can do everything on your own, for yourself, but in the end, what do you gain?"
He shook his head, "Not to slow you, not to chain you. To lift you, to pull you along when your heart as become heavy." Xiang was sitting at her feet, looking earnestly at her, wanting to lift her spirit somehow. "If you cannot move about in the day, I will stay with you until night, if you would like to rest, I will watch over you as you sleep. But tonight, when the sky falls dark once again, I implore you, Lady, to give me a chance. You still have wings on your back, I'll carry you to the sky and show you what is good about these lands, until you find your strength again."

Looking at him with soft eyes.. Yes. She had not slept for quite some time. She was shunned down. Now she was here. No mate.. they were gunna get courted. How pretty she thought.. Finally she can be a 'girl'. Then to have everything taken from you? It took a lot out of you. Where the girls she met were not so nice. A child seemed to love her. Unconditionally but even the girls around the Xio she was suppose to make a guardian.. Told her to leave.
"I'm.. tired.. " Looking down and soaking in a moment. "I'm very tired.. of everything.. The one of the sun... please.. watch over me..If you choose to kill me in my time of weakness.. I would not blame you though. But I will trust you this once..Because Im done..." In this shaded area.. she looked across.. The sun was draining her every moment as it was.. and now thinking and telling her past? Which made her slowly curl up in a ball. With her big fluffed tail wrapped around her... Her glowing white eyes.. were started to moist and then she started to cry.. A silent cry.. Only probably sniffles could be heard.

Xiang look appalled, "I am no warrior, no murderer, my Lady..." he looked sadly at her as she curled up where she sat to sleep, "I could never harm anyone, it's just not within me to do so..." Xiang didn't know what to do, he heard her sniffling but though that if he tried to comfort her, by perhaps sitting near to her, holding her hand, or petting her hair, that she would only think poorly upon him. Instead, Xiang flew up to the tree tops and pulled at branches, tying them together with strong grasses, making sure that no sun filtered through to shine upon her as she rested.
A bit later when she was asleep, he went to gather some fruits, eating a little himself but mostly setting it aside, for her when she awoke again. As he promised Xiang stayed near all throughout the day, keeping quiet and readjusting the tree limbs above to cast only shade upon Sterren and when the sun began to dip past the horizon he shaded her with himself, sitting between her and the setting sun, humming softly.
When he thought her well asleep he did touch her hair, brushing it from her face and running his fingers through its length, even though he knew so little of what she had lived through and lost he wanted to be of some comfort to her, a bit of light in an otherwise dark world, something that wouldn't tax her, or drain her, something good that she could trust and believe in.

Nodding to his words before she fell in to sleep.. Just the blurr of his shine.. The last thing that was recorded in her head before dying in sleep.
When the sun had taken all she had.... and then went slowly to rest. Unaware of what had happened as she slept.. Feeling absorbed in all the sleep she needed. All of what she had lost.. she was slowly gaining back with the help of sleep..
When the moon started to rise.. so did sterren.. Soft.. white eyes opened.. Minorly.. as she grumbled and rubbed her hand in to her face. "Mmmm.." Almost completely forgetting what had happened that morning.. until she saw .. a sort of dim light.. And thoughts of Xi came rushing back in to her. "Xi!" She scrambled to her knees and checked around.. Only to see food at her side.. "Huh?" Looking at the food and having her stomach growl... Her hair feeling more flowy now in the night.. Closing her eyes to regain composure only to call out again. "Xi!" ..... Hoping he'd answer by the time she opened her eyes. A childish thing to do like a game.
