The journals are for squad leaders to post journals about explorations and whatever happens in the roleplay. These are not required, but HIGHLY recommended. It will make understanding you as a person so much easier and more fun. You will make a thread called [Character Name]'s Journal or something of the sort. Journals would be like you would actually write a journal. For instance:

Today was amazing. I met an awesome Ghastly today, and he asked me if I wanted to form a rescue team with him. I didn't even think about it and automatically answered yes. We wanted to join the Explorer's Union. We heard they were searching for something called the Chest of Origin and wanted to help. Ghastly quickly brought me to the front gate where we had to step on a grate...
