This dragon is green in colour, and has long golden horns, from which it takes its name. The horns are used in potion-making and are highly prized. As a result of dragon-hunting for the horns, the population has shrunk alarmingly, leading to the entire natural habitat of the Longhorn being made into a dragon reservation. An intensive breeding programme has been carried out in order to stabilise the population and ensure the survival of the species
