So FEF, what's your opinion? If Roy had the ability to transform into a dragon, what would he be? Is he a white dragon, a red dragon, a black dragon, a pink dragon, or a mix of them? And the wings. What would the wings look like, what color would they be and would they be elemental like in FE7, or like the FE9-10 dragons?

Ahem, if you're curious of how we got to this conversation, it is due to Keiii's drawing, "Angel's Song." That picture led us to the conversation of what type of laguz would other FE characters be. Thus, this topic. :3

Interesting question, and a lot of things could factor in. First of all, Roy is technically an Ice Dragon if you take Ninian as his mother, but Roy's affinity is Fire; his father Eliwood's is Anima, and Ninian's is of course Ice. Just sticking with FE 7, I think Roy would be an ice dragon, and I'm not sure if the fire would play in at all. If it did, I would say that Roy would be a combination Ice/Fire dragon, with one ice wing and one fire wing. Roy would therefore be able to breathe both ice and fire, but that's kind of HAX. Now, if Roy were FE9/10 spawn and not FE 7, then a lot of things come into play: Roy could be red (for fire) due to his affinity; he could be white (or ice) due to his heritage; or he could be black because he is nobility, and (if he marries Lilina) he becomes Lycia's first king. Possibly he'd be a mix of all three? Black being dominant, but he'd still breathe ice and fire? Then again, Roy is FE 7 spawn, so none of this would really apply. I think the official art for dragon!Nini shows her as green with some white and yellow, if I remember correctly, Vika.

Technically, if Roy were to be considered as a FE9 dragon variety, he wouldn't even be a dragon. He would be a branded.
But going by the idea of turning characters into laguz (like the picture of Lucius), I think he would be a red dragon. I could picture him not being royalty, but still having a noble spirit. But fire suits him so well, so I wouldn't go with ice.
