my grandmother was seriously abusing me. she was cutting me with knives and stuff. my aunt found out about it, and she took me out of the situation. it was rough. my grandma was stalking us, but now she does not know where we live, and she tried to press kidnapping charges on my aunt. but now, she is in trouble with the law, now that they know what she did to me. *sigh* fun thanksgiving break, huh? what do you think would make me forget what happened easier? i would love advice!

I don't think that you really can forget, but so it doesn't haunt so bad I suggest therapy, perhaps finding something you can do for fun. (ex: art, sports ect)

Therapy or counselling of some kind might help. Doing things that take your mind off of it might work too, like reading, writing, listening to music, etc.

You probably can't forget such and experience but you can deal and get therapy for it. Have you guys tried a restraining order. You could change your name. I hope things turn out better
