Physical Description: Ghuy towers over most boys his age. He's very tall, and not exactly small in the muscle department, although the Hulk wouldn't be impressed. On the handsome scale, Ghuy is nothing special to look at, and that suits him just fine. He sports a neatly trimmed blonde style, and a groomed, small portion of hair on his chin. He has green eyes, but since they're so often closed, some people are still left guessing the color.

Personality: This profile is already way too much work for Ghuy. Someone else finish with this. He'll be over there doing something not boring; bothering Fan somehow, probably. Hard work isn't his thing, and he'd much rather push his friend to victory so the Flying Wherries can be top dog and he can get some lazy searchrider job. Ghuy just assumes he'll Impress something at some point, and he doesn't think much on it beyond that. Future planning? Future thinking? Eh, he'll get to it. Eventually. Ghuy is afraid of failure, and if you don't try, you can't fail. It's genius, right? Of course it is. He's extremely intelligent, matter of fact. He can read, write, and do both well.

Even so, don't count on him getting stuck with some ego-centric bronze. Truth be told, he's just fine with one of the lower ranking colors. Ghuy is too go-with-the-flow to be a leader. When it comes to be a team player, he'll ace the role every time. Not only is he loyal, but he if must work, he makes it fun. Besides, he left the back door open, if you catch his drift. In case you don't, he'll be glad to spell it out for you: his dating life is a Boys Only club. Got it? Good. He neither flaunts nor hides his preference. None the less, it has been publicized. (Good old Igen scandal.) If anyone has anything nasty to say about it, Ghuy will be glad to say something nasty back. --But it probably won't be the same kind of nasty, and you may want to hit him for it. He'll hold his own just find, though. He's a big guy and considers working out less working and more entertaining.

Him starting fights would be out of the question. That's barbaric. Ghuy is a lover, not a fighter (unless you start it). He really does love people, and genuinely tries to like everyone on a personal level. When he meets someone, he treats them as a friend, and it doesn't matter to him in the beginning what color you are or aren't wearing. It's likely, should he not Impress, Ghuy will go on to be the apprentice of a healer, since he's already skilled in giving practical, physical care. Not to mention he has a level of empathy beyond the norm for others, and would never enjoy misery, even if it was someone who had wronged him.

Not that he bothers holding grudges most of the time. He's too lazy for that and he probably hates negativity more than he hates the person in question. Bigger, global problems are often simplified in a way that can frustrate some. The Thread probably won't come, Ghuy says. Why are you worried about? He lives in the present and so should you. Instant gratification is the way to go! And there's way too much going on today to worry about tomorrow. Oh, how he adores exciting drama, and no one does it quite like Igen! Ghuy has no problem with being the center of attention, but he rarely feels the need to with all these people around.

Ghuy spends a lot of time grooming himself. Not because he's trying to attract anyone in specific. Just because he thinks to feel your best, you have to look your best. So he dresses nicely and takes good care of himself. He wants—no, needs—nice clothes. Fashionable ones, even. But other than those, he's not very attached to worldly possessions, and will generously give hand outs.

History: Ghuy is—well, was—the acknowledged son of a bronzerider. Not only is he acknowledged, but, gasp, he was planned! His mother was a green rider, and he is the product of a couple's desire for children and not a flight or a fling. Ghuy had it good, but he took it for granted. He was lazy and unwilling to even trying to live up to any of his father's standards, to the point he was eventually disowned.

But whatever. When he was much younger he befriended the very Weyrbrat who now runs the show over at the Flying Wherries, and had a place secured for him there. That's what he's been doing. Other than getting in a fair amount of trouble.
