Character Info
Name : Colton Wyatt Benoit
Age : 19 years, 1 ½ months
Gender : Male
Appearance : Colt certainly doesn’t fit the idea of ‘doctor’. He is built more for physical labor, broad shoulders and thick muscle. However he does dress the part, always seen in dress attire and a doctor’s coat. His dark red-brown hair is always cut short to his head, for a scar running lengthwise over the left side of his scalp makes it grow in rather oddly. Soft blue eyes are always kind, lovingly looking upon his patients with the devotion that would make any feel comfortable in his presence.
Personality : Even being an intimidating looking man, one glance to his face and it is easy to tell that Colton is gentle. His patience is saintly, even as a young man, giving him the strength to continue with his studies to become a doctor. An aura of peacefulness is generally felt, even the uneasiness of small children seems to vanish as he smiles and explains to them, in gentle words, what he is doing.
No one is without their faults however. Colton does get quite nervous, especially with his mentors watching him. Of course, with this nervousness he starts doubting himself, and will make mistakes. He is still a kid, after all.

History :
While he does not come from a rich family, Colton has always been well-off and did not want for anything growing up. He is the second son of his father, and as such still greatly loved but there was not as much pressure for him to go into the family business. With a farm however, there were dangers. Thrown off of his horse at six, he fell into a barbed wire fence and lacerated his scalp rather well. There was no true damage, but the scar that runs along the side of his head draws quite a few stares.
With the accident not affecting any of his motor functions, Colton decided he wished to become a doctor. He liked to help people, seeing others hurt just pulled at something inside of him. Driven, he sought help from the local physician to study under him, working as hard as anyone possibly could to do so. Finally, once he proved himself by healing the local lord’s son, his mentor sent him to Jaradin to study more.
Through all of this however, Colt had a few problems. He believes very much so in mythical creatures, in being able to see them and even have one as his own Daemon. The Phoenix, the symbol of life, death, and rebirth, seems very fitting for a doctor. It took him years to gain the need for his Daemon, but finally in his time of need, she arrived to show him that he could be a good doctor, one that can do anything he believes in.
