"Don't start about Prometheus," Athena started. "He did more than give fire to the mortals. I mean, you honestly think that something that simple is worth punishment?"
The way Athena remembered it was a bit different. But of course that was due to the rewriting of the stories throughout the ages. He was no victim of any sort at all.
"As for the slumber... I have no clue how things went down." This was the truth of things. She wasn't sure if her plan went well, or if it had to be manipulated on the fly by nike... that was after she was sealed.

Nikolaos has to hold back a smile; that was the closest thing to an admittal as he'd gotten out of her regarding who she really was. Still, there was business to attend to. Very, very serious business.
Reinforcing his more stoic appearance, he says, "Well, it is not as though it matters anyway. It's something that has to be done, and I'll help with it. I honestly don't believe I have a choice, though my superiors may believe otherwise. As such we're going to have to keep this quite low-profile, but I think it'll be better than if she were to run along on her own. I also imagine it would be advantageous for her to appear as... normal, for lack of a better word, as possible."

"I wouldn't know how much more of an advantage she might be at by appearing normal. She's a giantess, right? How normal is that?" Athena hoped there were no more giants or titans in the world. As it seemed, it was a good guess since her eruptance seemed all the more special. But who knew what this world still contained.

"Well, she'll have to reveal herself eventually. I just can't say it's a good idea now. It took hardly anytime for one photograph to arise, and we were lucky to get to it first. It could have reached the entire world by now otherwise, and then there'd be a whole mess of problems to deal with," Nikolaos elaborates, with a few simple hand gestures. "What I mean is, appearing at first in a giant size would only scare everyone. If she gains the people's trust, and then reveals her true form, then it won't be nearly as frightening to them."
((Unfortunately, that'd make this a boring giantess RP too, since you're the only giantess so far, so I guess something will have to go wrong at some point razz ))

"And how would she appear different? She's still gigantic according to you..." Athena asked rather lazily. "But all this speculation gets us nowhere. Until you truly believe in this creature, without needing proof or sight of it's existence, you will never be able to confront it properly. I'm going to go now."

"Honestly, I'd think the fact that I'm placing my career on the line here to offer help would get that point across, but perhaps I was too hopeful," Nikolaos says, shrugging. "I suppose all I do know is that something of great power is here, and I'd rather work with it than fight against it, for the sake of Greece, and perhaps the rest of the world."
Rising from his seat, as is proper etiquette when a lady excuses herself, he offers Athena a slip of paper from his pocket. "This is a phone number that will get you in direct contact with me, should you reconsider my offer of assistance," he explains.
With just the slightest hint of a smile, he adds, "And do tell me about what it was Prometheus did sometime. I'd love to hear it."

Athena had no real idea what a 'career' even was. Or a phone number's use, for that matter, but she took it in courtesy anyway. Giving a slight smile, she replied, "Oh, didn't you know? He stole from the gods.."
With that, she slipped out, breathing a sigh to refocus on her current goal. Times these days were a lot tougher than she remembered...
