the first time i encounter the zombies, i thought holy crap! then i got one on fire, then it was kinda sad... cuz while he was wondering around, he started crying"ahhhhh! oh my god! help me!" he's still alive in there! so im killing my allies! i wouldn't feel bad if they died, but they're crying. crying

those zombies deserve to die anyway.they USED to be our allies,but then those damn headcrabs came by and zombified them.

Actually yeah, you're correct OP, from speculation it's been determined that the people with the headcrabs are still conscious and that the headcrab is simply controlling their movement. Kinda of creepy isn't it?

yeah i find that very creepy.that would also explain the fact the the zombies can talk,but in a very weird way.

I feel the same way so I tried to shoot them on the headcrab but they still die sad

The headcrab basically makes a cavity on top of the skull and somehow attaches itself to the guys nervous system. Kinda sad. But still, it's either your brains on the walls or theirs.

You grow immune to it after a while.
Eventually, you'll find it funny when they're on fire. I sure do. ^^
