As many of you know or have seen, during the Summer Boogaloo challenge there was a points system. This system was extremely complicated and I am attempting to simplify it for the regular monthly challenges. So:
Reviews: If you post your work on any venue (DeviantART, FF.net, FP.com, Gaia, LiveJournal) that allows people to leave comments or reviews, post a Review Points counter in your library introduction. Each review per chapter is worth 1 point for the first 99 and 2 points for 100 and on. (If you get 100 reviews on a chapter, you just rock. No questions asked) So, for example, a story with 60 reviews gets 60 points and a story with 160 gets 220. Review points accumulate, so if you're working on a full novel of multi-chapter fanfic, your review counter continues to rise. These points do not directly corolate to monthly challenges, so challenges from last month or two months ago still accumulate review points.
Stories: *Edit* Each monthly challenge, unless otherwise marked, will be worth 5 points. Individual prose and poem submissions will be worth 3. *End Edit* In addition, there will be "extras," such as unique words, using all prompt words and double word count, that will count towards extra points. Keep a seperate total , a Story Points counter, in you library introdution, with your Review Points counter.
Extra Points: Beyond the extra story points, you may also recieve one point for each review you give. Keep a tally of reviews, and for every hundred include another 25 points into the Extra counter.
Total Points: Exactly like what it sounds like. Keep a running total of your points combined.

How many times have you asked yourself?
Is this the hand of fate now that I’ve been dealt?
You’re so disillusioned this can’t be real
And you can’t stand now the way you feel  Not sure if you want posters here, if not go ahead and delete this. But i was curious as to what the points mean/what they are for? or are they just for personal gloating rights?   I don’t care about what they say
I won’t live or die that way
Tired of figuring out things on my own
