Wow, this ball must be reaaallly popular if people were camping out for tickets.
I always find that lines like that are good for reading a novel or two, but that's only because I don't have a friend who will bring a wii!

repairthemisery! sounds like a really busy and fun weekend. o: also, what is commerce ball? >.> Oh, the course I'm doing is commerce. So it's just the ball for commerce students. It's the most popular ball on campus. I guess it has a good reputation for being fun or whatever, but also commerce is one of the biggest courses - I think there's a couple of thousand students doing comm because of double degrees... @chessie - I know, I'm so lucky! It will make starting out next year so much easier, I'll have friends to have lunch with, study with and all that jazz. ^.^ Plus, because we're all friends beforehand, I know I can trust them and I don't have to worry so much about watching my mouth or making a good impression with them.

There's a ball for pretty much every course? xd For example, I'm going to the marketing ball at another uni. The med students, science students, radiography, dental, pharmacy, architecture, engineering students all have one. Not to mention all the other random student groups. Like, I have friends going to the Greek ball, Indian ball, Asian ball... They're expensive though. $110 for a ticket to both the ones I'm going to - they're a bit more because they're two of the bigger ones around. But you get a 2 course meal, 3 spirits and pretty much unlimited beer and wine I think, as well as transport and entry to the afterparty...
