He rolled his eyes at Nani's pout, and was about to speak ... when Dani popped him. A slight frown creases his brow, as he looks down at Dani. "No, Tinania, I did not get married and I did not have a child," he said as he quirked his brow. He slid his eyes toward Nani, not turning his head, and looked at her out of the corner of his eye.
Maybe he was stalling, he didn't know, but whatever his reasons he didn't tell Tinania what he wanted to. Instead, he asked, "I don't know, Nani ... do you think that Danica wants to go back to her mother?" Because Calvin seemed to enjoy it, he gently bounced Calvin in his arm.

Tinania didn't really answer Damien, she just reached over to take Dani from Damien's arm. Holding the little girl in her arm, she shakes her head as she lightly taps her bottom "Seems this one has my hand trouble. Your the second one she popped in the mouth. Me being the first one." lifting Dani up just alittle, she blows raspberries onto her little stomach. A rather loud squeal comes from the little girl as she wiggles in her mother's arm.
Resting Dani back against her chest, Tinania turns to look at Mien as she arches her brow "So are you planning on telling me? Or do I have to figure it out? Cause you know very well I won't." her fingers run through Dani's black hair, actually causing the little girl to calm down.
Calvin giggles just alittle before he lifts his head. Looking at Damien, he lifts his hand to lightly touch his cheek. A small smile forms before he sneezes, shaking his head. Pouting alittle, he whimpers before hiding his face for a brief moment.

He shook his head as he watched Dani calm down. Sometimes, it was that one person that could usually calm them down. He knew that one all too well....
But, there was another pressing matter. Now that he had his other arm free, and noticed how Calvin was hiding his face, he shifted him in his arms so that he could hold the infant much as Nani was holding Dani. He'd let him touch his cheek, because, honestly, he didn't think that Calvin was going to hit him.
Then, there wasn't any way around it anymore, no way to stall it. He'd opened his mouth, and now he had to tell Nani what he had intended to keep to himself, at least until the time was right. "I wasn't entirely truthful about not having seen my mother," he admitted. "I saw her about six months into my trip ... only ... she wasn't really herself.' With a deep breath, he told her of the encounter with his mother, but only just the parts about her not exactly being in her right mind. How she had seemed paranoid and skittish and ... well, a little mad. He didn't tell her about anything else, not yet. He wanted to give Tinania a chance to absorb this before he dropped that other bomb on her....

Tinania just look at Damien, rather unsure of how to take his news. Aunt Lenore was alive, but out of her mind? So many question, and not a single one came to her mind except one "Was Aunt Mel with her? I mean...my mum can't even feel her anymore Damien? Is she alright, or.....?" she couldn't say it, as she refused to believe it.
After all this time, as strong as her aunt is. She will not believe she is dead.
Dani just watches her brother and Damien. A small yawn coming from her as Tinania continues to brush her hair. She mad very little noise, in fact you would believe she was a very calm baby after all.
Calvin's small fingers brush over Damien's skin, before he pulls back just as he touches a scale. A pout forms, then he reaches up again. His touch was soft as he runs his fingers over the green scales.

He wasn't bothered by Calvin's attention toward his scales, he just continued to run the infant's back, absently, as most adults do. He was lost in thought.
He wished that he had news of his step mother for Tinania, but he didn't. "I'm sorry, Nani, truly. Mel was not with her," he admitted. "But ... something else had happened. When we first found her, Laerwen and I," he started before he proceeded to tell Nani how Laerwen's gift had led them to his mother, slouched against a tree, crouched over her infants - his half sisters - protectively. How she pushed the twins onto him, telling him that he needed to take care of them, how them being with her was dangerous.
"She didn't even leave me names for them, that was how out of it she was," Damien said. "So, I named them. The girl with the pale skin and dark green hair is named Tawariell Calenmiriel, and the tan one with the black hair is named Minuialwen Caladhiel," he paused, not looking over at her. "Before you begin to wonder why they are not here and jump to the wrong conclusion ... they're very much alive. Laerwen should be bringing them along now. They won't be here for a few weeks."

Tinania was left pretty much stunned by the bomb that Damien dropped on her. She has new cousins, and they would be here in a few weeks. Shaking her head, she only comes to when Dani pulls at her hair. Wincing, she carefully pulls her hair from Dani's small fingers before she lays her down on the blanket. Her eyes following her daughter for a moment before she looks up at Damien. Her mouth opens, but no words come out. She wasn't even sure what to say at the moment.
Dani pouts before she kicks her legs alittle, rolling over in the process. Once she is on her stomach, she lifts her head slowly as she looks around. Her eyes focus on Seiji and Sellexi as they chase eachother around a nearby tree.
Finally happy with his need to know about the green scales, Calvin pulls his hand away. Laying his head back on Damien's shoulder, his head turns towards his mother as he watches her.

He was distracted still, and he continued rubbing Calvin's back. "I'm sorry I wasn't completely honest with you before. I just didn't want to add more worry about Lenore on top of everything else. But, perhaps the knowledge that Tawariell and Minuialwen are alive, and coming here, will be able to help keep everyone's mind off it for a time ... I am sure she will be home soon. She just has to take care of whatever she thinks if threatening the family...."
Damien fell silent, rocking for Cal's benefit. He waited to see if Tinania had questions ... she had been awfully quiet.
