back in april a friend OD and took her life. i thought i was doing okay, but i saw a picture of her and broke down. what is a good way for me to help me not break down when i see her picture?

It will probably take a long time for you to not cry, maybe the rest of your life. That is really harsh, especially since you are a Christian, and you know the Truth. I'm really sorry. That would not be a good burden to bear.

I don't really think that's something you can get over, and if you could, there might really be something wrong. Suicide is one of the worst tragedies. A lot of times, friends blame themselves for it. As long as you can be at a place where you don't blame yourself, you'll be fine. As for the crying, that will lessen as time goes on.
